First time visiting with my cousin. We both had the same experience. First, we walked up, and trash greeted us at the front door. Just piled high at the entrance. We walk in, and I guess we seat ourselves. We found a spot and sat. The service was EXTREMELY slow. They only take cash, cash app, and zelle. No Cards. We ordered on a Thursday, the crab leg special for 5 dollars a cluster. First, the meal took forever, and they gave my cousin her food first. She ate almost her entire meal before they gave me my crab legs. We had no napkins the whole time until I went to the bar and asked for some. The fried shrimp came out last.. that was weird because it was part of our meal. Side note our crablegs were served in anything they could find. One cluster in a bowl, the other in a disposable French fry container. The presentation was pitiful. Then, the bathroom is tiny and unclean. The atmosphere could really use some fixing. Then the bill comes, the server charged us for butter for our crabs.. EACH cluster. charged for each half of corn and half or potote. The thing is, she didn't say that at the beginning. The issue with that is we hardly had any sauce at all on each cluster. I can say the fried shrimp tasted good but was extremely tiny. It was an experience but never again. The frozen rum punch was pretty good, but when I got home, I got a headache.. I know they used the cheapest liquor possible. The service sucked and they have the nerve to add a service fee. But when we asked about how can we tip if having to use cash app when we first got there, why wouldn't she say it's already included. Horrible, they need help because they have the potential to be a good spot.I willpower the drink but the presentation of the food was so horrible and I waited so long to eat injust ate and didn't take pics of the crabs and other food. The Rasta pasta I had was amazing. I’ll be trying everything on the menu in the coming weeks. Nice atmosphere, good service and people in general. Next time I visit I’ll have a few drinks. I highly recommend this place and will be returning soon. An update to my review....I went in and tried to speak to someone at the bar, the first guy behind the bar looked me straight in my face and ignored me. The female behind the bar looked at me walked to the other end of the bar then after a few minutes of doing nothing came and looked at me like I had an issue. I finally was able to place my order for the Rasta pasta. I waited 32min for 2 chicken Rasta pasta orders. I paid and left. Getting home I noticed there was a significant difference in the food. It was less than half the size of the the food I received the first time. If I had combined the food from the second order it would be 1 of the plates from my first order. Yet I was charged the same amount. Absolutely disappointed. The food was delicious but I’m not sure about returning if the food size isn’t going to be consistent. Saw good stories on their Instagram figure I'd check it out on memorial day weekend was not crowded order a frozen rum punch took a while too come rum punch was not good at all went on too order appetizers ordered shrimp and calamari and Buffalo wings the calamari was so bad completely over cooked the shrimp was good the wings trash breaded with way too much sauce. Still wanting too give this spot a chance I ordered main course and another drink b4 I ordered the bartender who was also waiting tables along with 1 other waiting who looked like he was not even old enough to be the gave me a list of all the things they were out of no lamb chops no skirt Steak etc. so I ordered the rib eye medium with veggies and mash after about a 45 min wait the steak came out very well done and it was about 85% FAT the worst peice of steak I ever had in my life! Also ordered frozen casamigo margarita also not good. Long story short I had very high hopes for this spot and was highly disappointed definitely will not be returning I am a very big supporter of Brooklyn BLACK OWNED restaurants and lounge unfortunately I will not be able too...
