Happy Taco — Restaurant in New York

My husband and I placed an order yesterday for Mexican and Chinese food. Added up the prices on the menu and it came to $20.81. on the front of the Mexican menu it says tax included. When I asked for my total I was told the order was $23.75. I called them back to verify that price and was told that there's a new menu with higher prices. I accepted the answer and ask them to please send the new menus with my order. When I opened my order, it was the same old menus. I went over to the restaurant tonight and was told that they don't have any of the new menus to prove that the prices went up. The owner or manager came in the door and tried to explain that they haven't received any of the new menus yet. I told her the difference in price was about $3 and this woman claimed that she didn't have any of the receipts from yesterday and that I should bring in my receipt from my delivery. Everyone in the restaurant speaks broken English and we're all just looking at each other, I guess, hoping I would just leave and not say anything more. I stopped ordering from this restaurant once before for poor hygiene. I guess I need to stop giving them my business again. If you don't want to get the run around on the cost of your meal, I suggest you don't give your business to happy...

I lived in my home since 2003, I was a favorite yummy taco fan , then I tried another one after the delivery guy was rude , then one night , I came across this 💎 jewel, first off this is second time I ordered and hands down im amazed : 1- delivery was super fast 2- food was hot I mean HOT! No Luke warm here. The rice is gently seasoned, the chicken is mouth watering n seasoned , the lady who took my order over the phone was attentive: no yelling in background or putting me on hold 😃. I found a new acid place n this place deserves to post all there damn flyers in my condo complex imma make sure I spread the word next time I’m at the pool . U guys roc 👏 great portions n packaged nice...

So my husband does the gardening for the catholic church near by and a couple of homes around the way too (Verrazano Landscaping) & every time he is in the area he makes it his mission to always get us wings and teriyaki chicken.... we have had chicken wings and teriyaki chicken for many places but this by far has been the best we ever had I don't know what they put in their sauce but it's nothing like any Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn or Bronx that we have been to!!!
