Hillside Farm to Bagel — Restaurant in New York

I stopped in about 20 minutes before closing and they were still so welcoming and helpful! I have a gluten and dairy sensitivity, and they were super accommodating—recommending different baked goods for me to try. The owner was so sweet and you can really tell how much he cares about the quality of what he sells.

I got a ½ dozen GF bagels and a blueberry muffin and wow…both were amazing! He even gave me a few slices of their GF rye toast to take home and try before buying a loaf. Safe to say I’ll definitely be coming back for more—it tasted great and held up so well.

Also, the slices are way bigger than the GF bread you usually find at grocery stores or even other bakeries. I’m so glad I found this place—I’ll for sure...

Truly so disappointed in the place. When they first opened I was in love with their chorizo burrito - delicious! The past 3 times my order was incorrect & I let it go because I know mistakes happen sometimes but the service has been consistently bad.

The food was not prepared according to the menu & is missing numerous ingredients. Today I ordered sweet potato fries (which were burnt & inedible) and a quesadilla which did not have the beans, pico de gallo & sour cream. This place is so expensive, which I didn't mind because they say it's from farm to bagel, meaning the ingredients are from the local farms ( eggs, veggies etc) if only!!! They are absolutely lying! They use Costco eggs, and milk, cream cheese and other ingredients. The juice, not fresh squeezed, they have the machine which is always clean, never actually use it. When you ask fresh squeezed they say " oh we just squeezed it" when you insist they say they don't have ay more oranges.they run out of oranges, all the time.
