Could Be Great, But They Missed the Mark I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing. Delivery took about an hour, and while the driver was friendly and professional, the food arrived cold and poorly packed. I asked for the cheese pie well done, but it showed up undercooked with a dry, floppy crust and no crisp at all. The grandma pie had the best flavor of everything I ordered, but unfortunately, it was cold too — which took away from what could’ve been a standout. The chocolate mousse was melted because it was packed next to the hot chicken francese. That same heat also ruined the cannoli, which arrived soggy. The garlic knots were dry and chewy, like they'd been sitting for a while. The chicken francese itself was moist but lacked seasoning, and the pasta it came with had little flavor and barely any sauce — felt rushed. There’s potential here — you can tell the recipes might work if more care was taken. But between the cold food, ignored instructions, and sloppy packing, they really missed the mark this time. Until they tighten things up, I probably won’t be ordering again.

Very thin crust, a little soft in the center, but crisp on the edges, with very good flavor. Good ratio of cheese to sauce. A touch heavy on the oregano, but good flavor overall. Wouldn't say "it's to die for", but definitely a good slice at a good price point ($2.50). I give this one an 88.

Great spot for a slice. The regular has a little thinner crust than normal but the flavors are all there. Good to see a legit old school neighborhood pizza joint sticking around

Waited an hour for delivery, went outside to wait incase they were at the wrong house since it was taking so long. Called them back to have an EXTREMELY RUDE man on the phone saying they called (a half hour after I ordered) to tell me they don't deliver this far. When I asked why I wasn't told when I first ordered instead of waiting so long, he said "why should we tell people we don't deliver over a 2.5-3 mile radius!? How am I supposed to know where you were waiting for the food? You're angry that you sat outside in the snow waiting, does that make any sense!?" As if that was my main reason for being mad. I'm mad because instead of telling me you don't deliver here, (in which we were told they'd be here in half an hour by the way) instead we get a call at the time the food should have already been here, to tell us they're not coming. & Instead of automatically apologizing, this man became loud, rude, & tried blaming the whole situation on his customers with any excuse he could find. Used to order from here a lot with large groups of people, after that experience I would NEVER recommend Torino's over any other pizza establishment on Staten Island. Absolutely disgusting customer service. They should be ashamed. I've never once had any place tell me they could not deliver WAY after my address was said & order was made- it's always been right away. & Then to get nasty & ask why you should make it known to customers how far you're willing to deliver? Really? It's not that difficult to understand why you should publicize how far you're willing to deliver as a freaking pizza place... I wouldn't be SO ANGRY as to write this long review right now, IF I did not have to deal with that attitude when they were in the...

This is my last time ever ordering from there, I like the food but every time I order online or over the phone the would mess up my order! The young girl on the phone has no clue what is going on and vocou care less, where is your work ethic and pride about your job! I placed an order on line, and waited over an hour ,I called to confirm my order was placed the girl says my address and tells me it's on it's Way, so I repeated that I just wanted yo make sure they got the order!!! I wait another 30ins maybe longer I call again, and the same stupid girl says...we never got your order??? I lost it, I said that's why I called you to make sure, she had no care in the world, and tells me alot of people placed orders!! We get the manager on the phone and tell him this happened every time we order, we gave you another chance he says I am so busy with other customers and allot of people placing orders, does nothing to rectify this situation like give us half off or something, he says I will give you a free Snapple!!! Take your Snapple and you know where to put it! I have no respect for business owners who have no itegredity or customer service skills!!! There are so many nicer pizza places in the area that are much more together! If it's that busy hire a dam smart girl handling the orders!!! I never post bad reviews but this...
