Ho Wok — Restaurant in New York

This is a take out restaurant , i have eaten at no less then thirty Chinese restaurants since I moved from Brooklyn to Staten Island . Ho Wok is the best Chinese take out , not dine in restaurant but take out is the best. They change their oil and the food is fresh , everything is extremely flavorful and tasty . The roast pork and oyster sauce is amazing, the sesame chicken is great, the shredded beef with garlic sauce is the bomb , the soaring are great, crab Rangoon is a great appetizer. I have sampled almost all their items and they are all very tasty, their soups are second to none , especially the wonton . The entire family is Piotr and nice including their young sons whom been working their since children. Delivery time is fast . No less barbecue ribs are also great , non fatty not hard to chew and sauce is great . Whatever dinner combo I order I get a pint of water heat it’s and baby corn in garlic sauce to toss into my meal . This is my go to Chinese all the time for 18 years . And I have ordered for family functions this Chinese food for 30 people at a time many times and not one person didn’t like the food. I dont know why there are people on here saying this place is the best and they have been going here forever or since they where a kid or for how many years as if they didn't notice that the owners changed and it went from one of the best chinese food places to one of the worst i used to go here religously untill they changed owners and once the new owners took over i went once and it was bad and i went one more time hoping it wasn't true and it was and i haven't been there in about 6 or 7 years, what a shame, i dont know how they are still in business or how people didnt notice the change in owners. I truely beleive the only reason they are still in business is because they kept the name the same and because the original was so good that they still have people going there from when it once was good and they just settle for garbage or at best good enough. Recently placed an order at this Chinese restaurant and I must said the experience was exceptional and the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly young man behind the counter we talked a little and to my surprise is excellent customer service skills sets the tone for the entire meal I started off with the general tso chicken here which was a perfect balance of flavor of spicy and tangy and of course our direct and the boy recommended me dumplings I don’t know what dumplings. He told me the shrimp dumpling was delicious and so too was sesame chicken I also bought the general toast chicken all three of them I shared it with my wife and kids and to my surprise it was crispy and was better than anything I’ve ever tasted sure it might be better if there were less sugar and oil used but the most important thing about this meal was how excellent the service and quality was. I WILL BE RETURNING! BEST IN THE ISLAND....
