The WORST experience! Food is mediocre, service is really bad!
Arrived and was asked to stand and wait when there were numerous tables open. Was told, “The kitchen is overwhelmed and we’d rather not overwhelm our servers as well”. Wait, WHAT? We explained we would rather sit than stand and wait. I love 80’s disco music BLASTING when I’m dancing in a club, NOT on a Sunday afternoon at brunch! Ordered the bagel, lox, etc platter and was a little disappointed when I was told they only had plain bagels, but ok, I can make it work. Ordered and received THE WORST tasting Bloody Mary. How the heck can you screw up that drink? Tasted like tomato juice with worstishire sauce, PERIOD. 15 mins after we order, I’m told, “There are NO bagels”. I’m handed a menu and asked to re-order. Really?!! You couldn’t tell me that when I ordered? I would have at that point, left. I explained that the bagel platter was the indulgence I came out for, so thanks, but I’ll wait till my family finishes and get that bagel when I leave here. At that point, that’s when the manager should have gotten on the horn and either had some bagels from the nearby bagel stores delivered, OR, gotten into his car and brought some back! My daughter’s grilled chicken, mozzarella and spinach panini arrives and is flavorless. My husband’s SALAD, which requires NO COOKING, is no where in sight. 10 mins later I tell the waiter to forget his salad, give us the check because we need to go eat someplace else. The “MANAGER” is informed of what is happening and tells us, “The is no charge for your meal”, “I’m sorry for the slow service”. OH NO!! You don’t get to blame the “slow service” for this one! I explained that I’ve spent most of my career in business management and that HE should have addressed each negative, including getting into his car to get bagels. He was not interested in constructive criticism and therefore should never have approached me. This is the same owner as Z One. They should...
Read more(Sort of long thread) I went here for an Easter dinner to have something different for a change and ordered a seafood platter along with a relative who wanted the same thing. It comes with shrimp, salmon, sole, scallops, and calamari. It was one of the expensive dishes on the menu, I tried to have high hopes. However, it came to a stop when I tried it bit by bit. 1: The salmon was half burnt, little no seasoning. 2: The biggest issue was the scallops and calamari, it was extremely rubbery! So chewy and tasted like it was frozen or microwaved. I couldn't even force myself to like it. 3: The sole was mushy. 4: The shrimp was overcooked, very firm.
I am not one to be super upset, but I was, because I really expected something more and they didn't even offer any lemons with it, no extra seasoning on the side. It was very bland and just messed up. Even the roasted potatoes it came with weren't cooked all the way, in the middle it was... It's so gritty and watery almost for some reason. I don't understand how that was possible, but it was.
The only reprieve from the dinner was that their blueberry pie was very yummy, and I was given a big piece of it, with fresh whipped cream on the plate. My relatives were given free coffee, and they did what they could to adhere to what we ordered and to make things right. I don't blame the waiter at all although he felt sorry that we didn't enjoy our meal. I just don't get how we were given a very poor quality yet expensive dinner on Easter, no doubt. I hope that they do better for the quality of seafood because it's unacceptable how I was given a burnt salmon filet on top of rubbery and dead calamari...

We got 2 cheeseburgers deluxe, one with onion rings, one with fries. Medium for burger 1, well done on burger 2. Should be an easy win, right? NOPE!
Burgers: Both were raw in the center, barely seared on the surface. Potato Rolls were super stale, and too sweet. You rushed, I can tell. I wouldn't have minded waiting 20 more minutes for you to get it right.
Lettuce & Coleslaw - given the white & brown bottom ends of the lettuce. Coleslaw has a brown tint, clearly was sitting for a while. Do you not sell much, or have it sitting around for a long time? You gotta switch that stuff out more often, giving old coleslaw is not safe.
Fries & Onion Rings - overcooked & stale, chewy and greasy. In my experience, this happens when these items are cooked, go unused, and then re-fried in the deep fryer. Did we get second hand fries and rings?
Store was not busy, only a single elderly couple was eating lunch.
We both got bad headaches and stomach aches after eating this.
A cheeseburger deluxe is the most basic thing a diner should be doing right. The fact that it's this gross tells me this location is being chronically mismanaged. This is the kind of gross that isn't a one-time mistake, but a symptom of a staff that is not being kept operating efficiently or with care for a long time. I am terrified to think what Gordon Ramsey would find if he did an episode of Kitchen Nightmares here. What's your fryer look like? When were your grease-traps last cleaned? How fresh is the meat? I bet the walk-in is disgusting.
Only reason I didn't give it one star is the...
