ALDI — Local services in New York

Quality of Aldi's staff, meats, poultry, seafood, dairy, produce and chocolates is first rate. They offer so much more and I've been a fan for years. Their marina pasta sauce is excellent and my friend swears their pasta doesn't make her bloat. And Aldi finds, over the years I've purchased top rate eyebrow mascara, body lotion, shorts & floor length summer dresses. I hope that in time they add more products to their personal care and toiletries section. Now that a new location opened on New Dorp Lane close to my home, it's my primary grocery store...

The pros - Organic high quality food for rock bottom prices. The store is new and clean. Someone mentioned not as cheap as Shoprite or Stop & Shop. Aldi for most items is less expensive than Shop Rite & Much less than Stop & Shop which is the most expensive of the (3)

The Cons - Not enough registers. Their store hours are not so good. NO BATHROOMS FOR CUSTOMERS which is outright disgusting. They run out of sale...

Went to get a few items and the shopping experience was good but the parking is very disappointing. There are only 4 handicap spaces available! That's not enough considering the amount of elderly and physically handicapped on Staten Island. Apparently the owners of the shopping center are not very concerned about the handicapped, but made sure to have 2 spaces for electric vehicles to be charged which is so much...
