My friend and I had just gotten off an 8 hour flight from LA and we were waiting for our connecting flight so we decided to get a drink. It was 4 am mind you, so we saw jamba juice and we grabbed a water and i wanted a smootie so I ordered a medium cookies n cream protein smootie. And then my friend orders some oatmeal with apples and bananas on top. They call my drink out and I was like thats not the size I ordered, and the lady who checked me out who I believe to be the owner say, “Well you ordered the cookies n cream one right?” Very rudely by the way. And i tell her yes and she says well then that one is yours. I say ok and take it. Before I take a sip of it my friend takes a drink and goes oh you got the peanut butter chocolate one right and I go no I gotta is the cookies n cream one and she goes oh well that tastes like peanut butter, so i take a sip and all i taste is peanut butter and banana. I tell the lady that it doesn’t taste like what i ordered at all and she begins to argue with me. If I had been allergic to peanut butter that would not have been good at all. They call out my friends order finally and there are no apples or bananas on top and tastes like coconut. I understand that it is 4am but messing up both of our orders is downright rude and disrespectful. Neither of us got a sorry or an option for our stuff to be remade. It was the first time being to New York and it has left a bad taste in my mouth for anytime i go...

Hey Terminal 5 Jamba Juice, I want my $8.91 back! After 25 minutes waiting for my smoothie (after having already paid) and having 4 other drink orders that came out after mine and my asking nicely, "hey, how about order 3899?" the orders kept coming... 3900 and 3901? (ask again, do they have 3899 on the line?) and I'm greeted with a "yeah, yeah, it's on its way". 3902? 3903? (ask again, do you have 3899?) at which point I'm told, "yeah, we'll make it, hang on!". After 25 minutes of waiting, at 3:36 PM, I had to meet my flight before the boarding door closed. Hey CTG Management, you guys need to do something about the people you're hiring, I've honestly never witnessed a Jamba Juice that ran as slowly as this one does at JFK Airport. Your cashier is rude, your staff is slow, and as I stood there for 25 minutes looking at the inside of your store I realized how dirty it was with straw wrappers and other crumpled-up paper debris on the counter tops and floor, should have been a sign that morale and service was going to be unsatisfactory. Reviews left by other customers are spot on, service is slow and terrible, cups are not filled to the top (saw several go by not completely full). I'm kind of shocked that Jamba Juice doesn't have better quality control over its licensed / franchised locations, especially one in the busiest airport...

Extremely Rude and Unprofessional Staff Visited on August 1st around 9:40 PM and had a very disappointing experience. As soon as I walked in, I greeted the male employee behind the counter he completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no response. The energy felt cold and unwelcoming from the start.

I asked if we were supposed to order from the kiosk, and that’s when the female employee finally spoke but not politely. She asked, “What do you want?” as if I was bothering her. Before I could even speak, she cut me off and said, “No smoothie bowls.” I hadn’t even said a word yet. I stepped aside and waited for my partner to order, and again, before he could even get a full sentence out, she said, “No smoothie bowls.”

At that point, I said, “It’s okay, we’re not ordering from here,” and we left. This kind of rude and dismissive behavior has no place in customer service, especially at a brand like Jamba Juice. If you don’t want to do your job or treat customers with basic respect, you shouldn’t be working in customer-facing roles.

I hope management addresses this, because no one should be made to feel like a burden just for walking in and trying to...

The looming liklihood of unexpected adversity can seem far too prevalent these days. And while it's easy to claim that rising to life's many challenges is how we grow, few of us really know how we will react when the unexpected happens to us. The Jamba Juice at JFK International Airport, Terminal 5 by gate 28 is wonderful. Near 5pm on a busy Monday, the Pumpkin Smash seasonal smoothie was sold out. Everyone around seemed to be wearing the day like a wornout old coat. But did the staff at Jamba Juice use this as an excuse to fall short? To let their temperament slip? In fact they did not. In what was easily the most considerate interaction of my long day of travel, they set me up with a smashing alternative to their Pumpkin Smash! The whole interaction was enough to brighten my day! I sipped my acai smoothie by the window overlooking the tarmac. I thought of my old friend RC, who if you see this, I hope you grab a smoothie/bowl next time you're here! I felt truly grateful in that moment for such a pleasant, untroubled respite provided by the folks at Jamba Juice, Terminal 5 at JFK. Thank you!

The staff was very rude. I am not an English native speaker, and they work in an airport where they have to interact with people from all around the world. I asked what the difference between plain oatmeal and banana oatmeal was and they looked at me like I was dumb. Then I proceeded to order a banana oatmeal with no honey and the lady that was in the back rolled her eyes at me because she had already prepared the banana-honey oatmeal. After that she once again looked at me like a was dim and told me that what I wanted then was plain oatmeal. I subsequently told her that I wanted the banana oatmeal but just didn’t want the honey, and so they gave me the famous banana-no-honey oatmeal rolling once again their eyes at me. I think they have a long way to go with customer service. Ps: The oatmeal was not good.
