If you’re in town, you need to stop by Joe’s Pizza and grab a slice!! The owners are some of the nicest people I know and treat everyone with the upmost kindness! I couldn’t recommend you one single thing because everything is amazing, so I recommend you get some of everything. The garlic knots are to DIE for and it’s so hard to find a place that can actually make a decent Caesar salad slice but they’ve exceeded my expectations for it. The fettuccine alfredo is also amazing which I usually try to avoid anywhere I go because of how thick everyone makes the sauce, but the girl at the front register told me I’d love theirs and she was 100% right. I could honestly go on and on and on for days raving about their excellent customer service and food but instead, you should go check it out for yourself and see what I’m talking on about! They used to be very good, but recently I've had trouble with their service. I called in a delivery, like I usually do, and I waited an hour for them to show up. When they didn't show, I called back, and they claimed that they called my phone, but I didn't get any calls or voicemail. They said they were coming back, but they didn't show. After another half hour, I called again, and the guy on the phone blamed me for his screw-up. All I wanted was a pizza, and all I got was stress. The guy said he had to throw out the pizza, and that I was playing games with them, which I wasn't. I turned around and I said, "This is unacceptable, and I will never order from you again!" Hey Woodhaven, we have a true winner. Joe's Pizza is special. Not all pizza shops live up to hype. Joe's Pizza is a true treasure to the Woodhaven Community. Having lived in Woodhaven all my life, I have seen many stores come and go.

At Joe's Pizza, we always order a large pie with sausage and pepperoni. The store is very clean and the staff friendly. It is truly outstanding.

The nice thing is they deliver in about 30 minutes and the new owner and his staff care about their customers and the greater Woodhaven Community.

During these very difficult times for small businesses, support those quality stores who support, restore the commercial strip on Jamaica ave and who help grow Woodhaven. Those living and working within the community, get involved and support those stores that you want and need on Jamaica Avenue.
