Duran Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

Communication was bad being the only person who answers the phone only speaks spanish. Could not talk to noone who spoke english. They kept making excuses on why the food delivery was late. The food was delivered 35 minutes late after 4 call attempts on finding out what happened to the delivery.

When i finally received my order the food was good but they didnt give me much beans to go with the rice . I wrote in the comments that I wanted pepper or something spicy, but they failed to deliver on the request. Most likely a language barrier issue.

Honestly if the food wasnt good I would never order from them again. But the food quality is their night in...

Absolutely disgusting!!! I ordered stewed goat with white rice and the meat was flavorless and chewy and the rice didn’t seem to be fresh. On the side I ordered homemade coconut dessert and it is evidently expired, it has a bitter taste and the smell is unpleasant. How can a restaurant expose their patrons health like this? Someone can get fully intoxicated ... simply unacceptable. The worst part? I called the restaurant to let them know and the lady on the phone just said: ok I’ll let them know ... the lack of customer service is at its superlative level ... please avoid yourselves a headache and don’t order or go...

Nasty food and a nasty attitude to match. I know the majority of their customers are Spanish speaking and I have very little Spanish speaking skills but most of the other restaurants in the neighborhood will at least try to help you understand what the items are in English if they can. There were 3 females today who made no attempt to help me and we’re just “ I don’t know “and dismissed me so I settled for the nasty cheese empanadas they had . I guess desperate times call for...
