Paneorama — Restaurant in New York

Spent almost $40 today on Italian breads and desserts. Everything in the store looked beyond amazing. However, don't let that amazing look fool you. The desserts were by far the most terrible desserts I have ever tasted. Everything seemed to taste old and stale and dry as if they had been sitting there for far too long. We are not from NY, so to get home and try this after dinner was beyond disappointing for us. We were foolish not to read the reviews prior to this and most certainly have learned our lesson on making sure to check reviews next time before buying anything. Hey now here was a place that had good products ......in the 80's! Due to the fact I am frequently in the neighborhood I have disappointedly given it many chances. I will say they have good blueberry Turnovers, but it shows the wear and tear of a quickly sinking neighborhood. The Danishes have often been frozen and even hardened because they are probably made once a week. The coffee is usually weak. Many items seem and taste as if they were stored. I am sure you can get fresh baked bread if you request it as it comes out of the oven. That's if you are lucky enough to make it at the right time. Hello, my name is Eddie aka onyx, I went in to get a cherry cheesecake for my Girlfriends B-day (38) - The Cashier / Bakery Assistant named Jennifer was such a Sweetheart & the Baker was very kind & understanding of what I want on cake, even though they didn't have cherry cheesecakes on display Jen/The Baker Accommodate for me and maybe me a cherry one and it was wonderful, in my opinion they gave me a great experience, Very honest workers, all 5 stars 🌟 for me,will tell other to go here.
