Juice for Life — Restaurant in New York

I did a juice cleanse from this establishment. They were pretty good, and it’s cheap compared to the other cleanses, however, the poor process to receive and return was enough to have me never go here again.

Upon putting this order in, I think I walked into the store three minutes before they opened, however, their door was open and workers were at the register. They ignored me and told me to leave very rudely. Another man walked in right after and calmly helped, but didn’t thoroughly explain the process to me. He told me if I return the glasses clean and dry I will get a $15 refund. But when I returned, he mentioned there was a box that needed to be returned as well. That was super frustrating to hear when I was returning because I wrote down my instructions (type a personality) and there was no mention of returning a box to me.

My mother picked up the juices for me the day after I ordered…. and again only “clean, dry glasses returned” was mentioned. He seems to believe that he wouldn’t have forgotten that detail, but my memory of the conversation and my mothers memory of the conversation says otherwise.

Juices tasted good but I won’t be dealing with them again, fitrition is only down the block and is...

I'm a terrible person for not writing this sooner. I love this place so much. The tuna de pica is like my favorite thing ever, both in salad form (with lettuce wraps, blue tortilla chips, and a full green salad as options so it's like a choose-your-own adventure experience) and in wrap form. I'm gluten free and it's so nice to be able to have wraps. They've changed what kind of gluten-free wraps they use a couple times, but they've all been tasty. I remember running into the owner at Neil's Natural Market and him telling me they got their gf tortillas there and it made me love Juice for Life even more. Also they have great smoothies and juices! Oh and it's one of the only places in the world that gives you something EXTRA (soup) for getting a gluten-free wrap because they feel bad your sandwich will be a bit smaller, and they only charge $1 extra for the wrap, unlike the 2-3 that a lot of other places charge for gf bread/buns etc. I love you guys! Food always took so long, delivery guys always txt me the food not ready when they got there or they still waiting. One time the guy left already and about a block from my house then I saw him drove all the way back to the store again, when I asked him, he said the guy gave the wrong order and they told him to go back to change it and tried to blame him for not checking it, the store supposed to make sure. The poor guy has to drive back and wasting his gas just to change the food and my food got cold.
