Under new management (Monica Rubin) as of late 2022 and music school made a turn for the worse. Beware, she owns franchises in LI too so best to look into Bklyn options. Unprofessional management staff, poor communication with customers, the worst customer service and also had existing staff on edge in fear of being fired. School would cancel classes without notice, wasting customers time after already traveling to the school for a lesson, would not pro rate classes cancelled and only offered make up clases one other option in the week (which for most families with busy schedules is very hard to make) Music Teachers, however, were brilliant and passionate. Read moreMy child has been attending school of Rock in Bayside for over a year now, and likes the experience School of Rock provides. My child also said the staff and other students are really nice. Furthermore, I like that my child has an opportunity to be collaborative in a musical environment. I also like the fact that even though they’re a drummer, they get to see and hear what the other students are doing, the instruments they’re playing, etc. So if they wanted to try another instrument, I would be more inclined to entertain their request, since I know they have seen the other children...
Read moreMy son attended summer camp and loved it! We were impressed with the fantastic facilities that included a green room area, multiple practice rooms, and a really cool performance room. He enjoyed playing games, improvising, learning Beatles songs, and performing at the end of the week. He is a guitarist but also got to play other instruments which he loved!
