Not worth $500. We asked if they had Santa Barbara Uni and they said “YES” but they gave us the tiny uni (like the ones you can buy at H-mart) instead, and charged us $75 for 5pcs. Then when we asked them about it and they said its “Hokkaido Uni from Japan.” First of all, they should tell their customers that they don’t have Santa Barbara Uni and ask if we would like Hokkaido Uni instead. But they just served it to us without asking us first. Second, we know what Hokkaido Uni taste like, and it definitely was not it. Ordered a sushi and sashimi combo and they gave us all the low quality fish (tuna, fluke, and even tamago (egg), kani (imitation crabmeat) and a few pcs of Salmon. The yellowtail jalapeno was just sad, a few drops of ponzu sauce and poor quality and presentation. The decor inside was nice but thats about it. Sushi in Queens will never be as good as Manhattan… but I felt that we got ripped off because we did not get what we paid for.

The food lacked flavor. The Kani salad was mostly cucumber, with about 90 percent of it being cucumber which is cost $12.95. We finished it because we were really hungry. The wasabi was not made from real wasabi root . Despite having few customers, they are only can open three nights a week. We are quite sure that the menu did not indicate 'CASH ONLY,' but when we checked out, we were informed it was cash only and shown a menu with this policy. This is unacceptable. They also put the CASH ONLY sign towards the inside not facing the street. We saw it when we walked out. This is fishy.

Food is fairly well in this neighborhood. But the service still have rooms to grow. We started with their "share plate" tempura appetizer. Impressively, the restaurant uses regular paper towel instead of tempura paper which I never experienced in my life. We ordered one sushi set and one chirashi. Ok.. chirashi is not on the meun but they nice enough to make one for us. However, the rice level is way too less to compare with any other chirashi in Queens. I have to agree their sushi rice is kind of the best one in this neighborhood.
