Leaving a 1* review because the server already charged a 20% tip to our bill. She came to us with the machine and said she had already charged us 20% and we could add an additional tip if we desired.

I don’t know what kind of training the staff receive, but there is no forewarning that that was going to happen when we got seated or served. Therefore, I didn’t consent to being forced to tip 20% before fully seeing my bill. This is beyond unprofessional on top of being extremely entitled to other people’s money for no reason besides being a server. Good tips are earned through good service, and providing excellent hospitality, not enforcing minimum tipping structures. There is nothing hospitable about defaulting my bill to a 20% tip and then telling me I can add extra if I want and all I have to do is tap. That’s not earning a tip,...

Jules in Brooklyn Heights is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The cozy ambiance sets the perfect tone for a laid-back meal, and the servers were incredibly welcoming and attentive.

We tried three pizzas, and the thin crust on each one was a standout—light, slightly chewy, and full of character. My favorites were the Soppressata and the Potato Ricotta pizzas. Both were beautifully balanced, with flavors that didn’t overpower but still made an impression. The Potato Ricotta, in particular, was a delightful surprise: light, airy, and perfectly executed.

If you’re into thin-crust pizzas with thoughtful toppings and a warm atmosphere, Jules is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward...

Solid neighborhood gem! Came here on a Tuesday night with two colleagues at around 5:45 and we were able to sit right away. I was the first of my party to arrive with the latest arriving at about 6:15. The staff were really patient so thank you!

They were doing half off martinis and Negronis so I got a Negroni - delicious classic. We then split the gem wedge, the regular, and the patate & lardo pies. All were absolutely excellent. We didn’t leave any leftovers.

Can’t wait to come back on my own and enjoy the bar, do a date night, or bring family/friends :). I’m so excited BK heights is getting some really solid dining spots, so welcome to the...

We had been hearing the hype about Jules on the street in Brooklyn and we had to check it out for ourselves. The atmosphere is buzzy, the decor is simple but spot on and the pies are excellent and often unique. It might just be my take, but the crust seems to be a nod to New Haven style. We ordered the corn pie, which is not only original, but exceptionally delicious. We started out with a simple, delicious fresh salad, and ended up the meal with a Neapolitan cake that is probably the best iteration I’ve ever had. Definitely need to go back and check out more of the pies ASAP. Jules is a welcome addition to Brooklyn Heights pizza scene.
