I'm a huge fan of Just Salad, and the Bayside location is conveniently close to me. However, my recent visit was ruined by a disappointing encounter with one of the staff members.

The issue began when I tried to order the breaded chicken. Unfortunately, the sassy hispanic male staff member insisted on arguing with me about the name, claiming it was called "crispy chicken" instead of "breaded chicken." I now know it’s called crispy chicken, but the chicken is still breaded… I found this exchange absolutely ridiculous, he kept going back at it about 5 times even after the conversation was over. Overall what makes it even more ridiculous is that he clearly knew what I was referring to — it’s like he just wanted to bicker with me!

To make matters worse, when I asked for heavy dressing, he seemed put off and ended up giving me a very light drizzle instead. My salad was left dry and flavorless, forcing me to purchase my own dressing to salvage the meal.

What really bothered me, though, was the staff member's attitude. He came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. As a customer, I expect a certain level of respect and courtesy, even on a bad day. I was treating him very kind with please, and thank you.

Despite this unpleasant experience, I will continue to visit Just Salad in Bayside, as it's still my preferred choice over the alternatives in Ditmars or Port Washington. However, I hope the management takes my feedback seriously and addresses the customer service issues that I...

Just Salad in my neighborhood usually has a lot of good food options, but sometimes one bad server can totally ruin the experience. I stopped by between 1-2 PM (today, being a Sunday-12th day of October) to place three orders, and unfortunately, the same girl with the attitude who’s served me before was working again. She didn’t disappoint—in a bad way. She kept rushing me through my orders like the place was packed, but I was the only one there ordering.

Then she added some bad avocado to my order. When I pointed it out, she added a new one, but honestly, she almost left the bad avocado in until I told her to remove it completely. After that, she kept rushing me and talking over my food, getting pretty loud too. It got so frustrating that I asked if someone else could take over my order. She flat out refused.

Even while mixing my salad, she was still rushing and talking on top of her voice. I asked again for another person to step in, and she still wouldn’t let anyone else handle it. This girl really has a bad attitude. My whole family comes here almost every other day for salads, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering if we want to keep...
