Kam Fung Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

Is only ok for taste. Tasted much better here a few years ago. I Order from here becuz of closeness to house. Telephone orders for delivery are awful. They barely speak English over the phone & u constantly have to repeat your order. And deliveryman isn't much better. They must've recently replaced the other guy who did a great job. They have several deliveryman now none of which-speak English or understand it. But riddle me this... one of the deliveryman knew enough to remove the receipt from the delivery bag & when I asked what the total was he pretended not to understand me. I didn't know the exact amount but I knew to round off because I've ordered before so I hand him a twenty dollar bill for what I know didn't cost more than $14. He hands me a $1 & quickly walks away. As I yell after him to come back, he acts as if he doesn't understand me hops on his delivery scooter and speeds away. Minutes later I call the restaurant back & tell them what has just happened. Suddenly they speak English very well on the phone. I get a shocked disbelief on phone. They didn't say how they would rectify the situation, other than to say that they will speak to the guy and to this day I have not got a refund. Smh, I guess you can figure out I don't eat there anymore!! P. S. For anyone who orders food off of Chinese menu that requires the condiments Ketchup or hot sauce ask for packets.If they use theirs in kitchen you will quickly find out, it is so watered down you can no longer taste the condiment. Most of the posted review about this place must be bogus. Two weeks ago I ordered two Generals chicken, NOT spicy, one with brown rice,the other with white rice, the combo meals come with egg rolls for delivery. I received pork fried rice with both, both orders were spicy and received no egg rolls. I called to complain and was given the run around even after they admitted their mistakes. Last week I order a beef and broccoli combo and the beef was over cooked and tasted like cardboard. Tonight I ordered a chicken and broccoli with brown rice combo. The rice was completely under cooked and tasted like it had just come out of the box. The chicken was dry and over cooked and the sauce was too salty. I ordered a small egg drop soup and I was all broth and about a table spoon of egg white. My family and I will never order from this over priced with horrible food...

MEAL: jumbo shrimp and fried rice and a small side of french fries and an egg roll shrimp egg roll

First off the jumbo shrimp was fried to the point where you can't even break it open to dip it inside of the tartar sauce then it has no taste whatsoever no seasoning. I can't even taste the oil that it was Fried in. like there was no taste it taste so watery! then the fried rice has everything that I told them specifically not to put and on top of that had no salt!!!! !then the french fries were soggy to the point where they were too soft the whole plate itself look like it was rewarmed because it has holes in the plate that only comes from a microwave and THENNNN the iced tea that I ordered as a drink to go along with my food taste LIKE flavored water with a BROWN color towards it and has a...
