La Cucharita Paisa — Restaurant in New York

I met the owner, Jennifer, when she walked into the store I work in and she told me about her restaurant. I decided to go there with my husband, my son and his girlfriend for my birthday. IT WAS THE BEST TIME I HAVE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME! We each ordered a different plate and everyone tried each one's plate. Every plate was FANTASTIC!!!!! The drinks were amazing. The ambience was EXCELLENT. We were there for over 4 hours and enjoyed every minute. There was music that was great and the DJ came in at 10:00 to make the night even better. Our waiter, Moses, was THE GREATEST!!!! He constantly checked on us, making us feel very comfortable and cared for, all while taking care of other customers, restocking, and cleaning up. Had the best tasting steak (Carne Asada), with a whole maduras the length of the steak (it looked so good) placed on top with rice & beans and a side salad. My compliments to the chef! Revisen la comida antes de irse!! Pedimos 2 bandeja paisa y nos dieron un pocoton de arroz y una carnes super pequenas del grande de una mini arepa!! Tan cara la comida y mala! Y lo peor el servicio se demora muchisimo... me habian dicho que era malo pero no quise escuchar.. asi que si quieren comida mala y que te roben vayan alli!!

Y todos esos reviews que son buenos pueden ser puras mentiras.. oh solo son buenos reviews de gente que come dentro del restaurante y no para delivery oh pickup.

Check the food before you leave!! We ordered two bandeja paisa and they gave us a huge amount of rice and a tiny piece of meat that was the size of a mini arepa!! The food is so expensive and bad! And the worst part is the service takes forever... I had been told it was bad, but I didn't want to listen... so if you want bad food and want to get robbed, go there!!

And all those good reviews could be pure lies... oh they are just good reviews from people who ate inside the restaurant and not for...
