First time coming , with some high expectations based on the good reviews, but honestly it wasn’t a pleasant experience. I wanted to try out this place since it’s close to my house instead of my regular nail saloon close to my job. I wanted to get done a gel pedi and a full set with tips of the dip powder, but honestly some employers (lady with the lightest hair color- sort of brownish~honey) had such an attitude and nasty vibes, I didn’t felt like staying there to long either spending my money there. First she tells me she is gonna file my nails, after with no care at all makes me soak my fingers on the acetone putting the recipient with no care at all, walks away, and after a couple seconds comes back and takes the container away with this smug sassy attitude-look on her face, all embarrassed another employee takes me and helps me with my belongings, which clearly I cannot even grab since my fingers are all covered and dripping in acetone. At least a heads up can be helpful, letting me keep my hands on the towel while Out of nowhere I had to move to another chair could be absolutely helpful and mindful for you clientele, not just taking things away and walking away without even looking at the client. After that, I try to enjoy my mani since the other lady is being nicer, but I feel really weird, as I noticed that the other woman, the one who decided out of the blue to not do my nails and rudely take away the container with acetone where my fingers was soaking, well, on that moment seems like she doing nothing, BUT intensely staring at me, not exactly with the most gentle or kind way, but why? I don’t effin know but certainly I’m not enjoying it, I ended up gettin a pretty MEH $40 French mani, pretty expensive for the mediocrity of it. I uploaded a picture, You can even notice the acetone still on my hands. Definitely after the rudeness of the first woman and her nasty stares, the less than average overpriced french mani, I’m definitely not coming back here, I really wanted to have an option for a nice nail saloon near home but this place is...
Read morei had a really bad experience here. i got a simple gel removal and white gel pedicure. i don’t know when it became standard to ONLY use an electric file to remove gel… my nail tech was a young man who literally filed my toenails down to a sheet of paper. i was so stressed but i wanted to trust the process. then, with zero communication i see him putting dip powder on some of my toenails. i was like ..? i didn’t ask for dip powder. i realized that this man had filed my nails so aggressively with his drill that they had literally SPLIT down the middle :( and then instead of apologizing or explaining he just went ahead and applied the dip powder as if that’s just a normal thing to do? what on earth?? he did this two of my nails….
he completely destroyed my toenail beds and i can literally see a SLOPE from where my cuticle starts and my healthy toenail is down to where he filed them down so thinly. i am a quiet and shy person so I paid my $40 and tipped $8 like always and just went home after. guys… i can literally feel my second toenail splitting down the middle when i walk in shoes. it hurts so much and im just so upset that i let him do this to me. now i get to enjoy waiting MONTHS for my whole entire nail to grow out and replace itself. i keep wanting to put my trust in Bronx businesses and they always fail me. i’m never using these lazy, unprofessional, dirty (only in the bronx have i ever had my feet scrubbed with a brush?? that they use on all clients, there is no way to sanitize that kind of item) salons in parkchester ever again. my nail tech was a kind young man with a mask on his face who clearly has no idea what he’s doing.
Never let someone use an electric file on your bare nail, it’s pure laziness. What happened to the days of gentle manual filing and buffing? the days of actually respecting your craft and caring about the health and strength of your clients nails? i’m so mad at both them and myself for...

This salon was incredibly unprofessional and unwelcoming. From the moment I walked in, the workers just stared at me—no greetings, no effort to make me feel comfortable. It immediately set a bad tone for the visit.
When you walk in, the workers are just sitting on the massage chairs, glued to their phones. They don’t get up to greet customers unless you speak to them first.
The pedicure was terrible. The worker ripped part of my big toenail while cutting it, and now it’s infected. To make matters worse, the nail polish they used on my toenails was old and tacky, leaving my toes looking awful. On top of that, other workers kept interrupting him, showing him things on their phones while he was working on me. It was beyond unprofessional.
The manicure wasn’t any better. It was dry and rushed—no cuticle oil, no proper care, nothing. After seeing the mess they made with my toes, I didn’t even bother getting my nails painted.
When it was time to pay, the workers just sat there staring at me. No one got up to help or even asked if I was ready to check out. I had to speak up just to pay. From the moment I stepped in to the moment I left, it was clear this salon didn’t care about their customers. (Maybe they just don’t like my kind of people) Despite the good reviews and reputation for their nail art, their customer service was absolutely horrible. I’ll...
