Update: they recently renovated and what can I say, I love the new look. The interior has a nice modern and spacious look. There a few minor things that needs to be completed, but congratulations to Lash for the new and improved restaurant!!! You are on point, keep it up!!! Also, their checkout tech is waaay more convenient and quicker than before. I love this place! Their ackee and salt fish with food is a dish I cannot get enough of! They also serve chicken and waffles which most people rave about, so one day I gave it a try. I ordered the ever so classical buttermilk waffles with white meat fried chicken however, I was disappointed. I could taste the rawness of the batter in the waffles which made me averse to ordering it again that was over a year ago. Recently, I decided to try their chicken and waffles again. This time I ordered the oreo cookie crumble and cinnamon waffle with the fried chicken....😭ladies and gents, I was NOT disappointed. It was a deliciously sweet meal in my mouth!! Now I know which waffles to get when I get the feels😊. Also, a shout out to my girl Verona and the owner's daughter for always holding it down when serving me and my family. You ladies are the best!!!

This place really blew up and became trendy when the masses heard about the chicken and waffle combo but they have kept the hype up because customers are continuously coming back. In my opinion, the food is a bit overpriced for what you're getting because there are plenty of caribbean spots not too far away where you can get the same plate for less with equivalent or better taste. The hyped up chicken and waffles combo is so-so in my opinion, but the fried chicken is quite tasty. The fried fish is also very delicious as well as the carrot cake. I think they have trouble keeping up with demand because sometimes if you call and order your food ahead, it wont be ready by the time you get there or they act like you never ordered in the first place, which can be frustrating. The place is really tiny as well, so expect to pick up your food and be on your way unless you want to eat at the small stand, while people hover over and watch you eat.

I went too lash in hopes of a great experience, I've heard great things about there chicken and waffles as well as other traditional dishes but was instantly left with a bad taste in my mouth, the minute my order was taken. The customer service is horrible and there food was not impresssive. I ordered oxtail rice and peas also fried chicken with curry goat sauce and white rice..... this was probably the worst oxtails I've ever eating, it lacked flavor and was very tough chewy chunks of cartilidge infused meat. I don't know if I had one descent piece in there. This wasn't even the worst part, the white rice and fried chicken with curry goat sauce came with a Nasty thick Black hair in it that looked like it fell off of somebodies pubic area. Greasy shiney glistening hair. (DISGUSTING) They served the food in a box which was not pleasant. When I called to try and get this issue fixed I was hung up on twice by the manager whose name I Can't remember at the moment. I spoke to a lady who was the supervisor turned manager in the matter of seconds. She also kept putting me on hold and made me repeat myself multiple times. It took me about an hour to get through to these people about my issue and when I finally did there was no solution. " oh really that's not good" is a horrible way to cater to your customers concerns. I would never spend another dollar at this place. All around...

I ordered through Uber eats from this restaurant and didn’t know what to expect not from the restaurant but from Uber eats because it was my first time using this sort of delivery method my order was prepared and delivered to me took about an hour that’s great but when I opened the back I was quickly dissatisfied because some of the items I ordered were not in the bag I went back into my receipt and saw what was missing cost me 8$ two items so I called the restaurants and to them that my order was not complete and the first thing they told me was that they (don’t do refunds) wait let pause right there go back and read that again so you mess up my order and I can’t get my money back has to be about the worst customer service I’ve ever out there the worst and maybe the Uber delivery guy messed up a too when he didn’t check to make sure everything was in the bag but ( HE DIDNT PREPARE THE FOOD) So the fault here is on the employees at lash west. When dealing with people food keep in mind that your also dealing with their money and they could have easily went somewhere else and spent there money but the chose your restaurant so Appreciate your customers and pay attention to detail. But I’m just talking about ordering online but I have never had a problem ordering when I...

I placed a large order of chicken and waffles for on 3/2/18 to be picked up for an event today 3/3/18 at 12:45 pm. I even paid in advance so I do not have to wait when I get there. Today I had to wait 1 extra hour for my order to be ready. No reason or apology was offered for the delay. I wasn't even allowed to speak to the manager when asked to. When I finally got my order, I asked if everything including syrup is there and I was told yes. Only for me to get to the event with no syrup in the bag. The event ended at 2:00pm and I got there with the food at 2:05 pm. 2/3 of my guests were gone by the time I arrived with the food and the 1/3 that were still there had to eat dry chicken and waffle. I'm now left with all this waffle to throw out. I tried not to make a scene at the restaurant, so I decide to call them later to let them know how unsatisfy I am with my order and service. Again I asked to speak to the manager but the lady on the phone did not transfer me to the manager. I explained the all issue to her on the phone and all she said was "sorry about that" and hanged off the phone. Terrible customer service but good food. For individual meals they are good but do not trust them for large order if you have an event. They are...
