K Q — Restaurant in New York

After tonight, I am finished with this establishment. I've enjoyed this restaurant over the past few years; their food is good. Also, the woman hostess is a fantastic hostess and always gets the orders correct. If there's a mistake, she'll fix the mistake. However, tonight a different person answered the phone and messed up my order; this happened the previous night too. I ordered an egg drop soup, and I always get large. They gave me a small one. When calling to get the situation fixed, the man told me that I had ordered the wrong size. Now, I always order a large, and I know what I said. I then asked if he could resend one, and I was told for $3. Why would I pay for a mistake that the restaurant made? The man ultimately hung up on me, and I walked to the restaurant to solve this (3 blocks); no customer should have to do this, but im not feeling well, and this soup helps me get better. Once I arrived, everyone is now concerned and wanted to apologize; this meant nothing at this point because if he cared, he would've helped me while on the phone. When the cook went to “remake” the soup, he threw the old soup into the wok to reheat it. I asked for a new one because why would he reheat the old soup? The cook catches an attitude. Thank God I was watching because I realized he tainted my soup by putting in an ingredient that didn't belong. I guess he thought I didn't know how to make egg group soup, but I do, and it contains broth and not water. What kind of establishment does this? Can someone get that lady back I don’t care how much she yells !! She’s on point and she kept a tight ship ! Since she’s been gone food sucks and as many times as you repeat the order they get it wrong. I don’t know if the cooks change but the place is going down and she has kept a great name for years I hope she comes back ! 3 rd time I order since she’s been gone. I’ve lived over here for about seven years and the food was great and affordable. Best garlic chicken brocoli everrrr! However, they’re under new management and the cooks there are extremely slow and inefficient and always get your order wrong!!!
