Living Room Sushi & Steakhouse — Restaurant in New York

Worst dining Experience! During dinner hand trucks & deliveries coming into front door by our table while we eat ! Our waitress left (went home) after drinks & taking our order , after our meals were brought to the table No staff help came to the table after our food I served OR checked To see if we needed anything ! Completely ignored ! My steak would have been better if they notified me there was some kind of weird cheese on top ! I was not aware of this topping, They assumed that I would like it (I didn’t) . My lobster even though it was a good size tail was overcooked two times ! The second time the lobster was steaming at the table , It was overdone just like the first one ! Again, waiter never came back to the table to see if I was satisfied Was ignoring us ! They were busy with a party in the back, which apparently was another employee having a birthday party during business hours, and customers out in the front dining area ! Then they had the balls to add on a $44 tip they added the gratuity Onto our bill ! Food was subpar service was horrible & Very disruptive activities going on while we were eating ! There was four of us cost over $250 plus tip .YOU ONLY GOT US 1 time ! I’m sure the owners don’t care but we will never be back and will never refer any of our family or friends to your restaurant. There are too many other restaurants that serve great food and care about their customers and how their food is serve served. I should have realized this when I came in close to dinner and there was two people sitting at the bar ! I should have walked out !WHAT A RIP OFF !!! Good luck...

I recently visited this sushi spot and was really impressed! The fish was super fresh and everything tasted clean, not heavy. The salmon and tuna practically melted in my mouth, and the rolls were beautifully presented. I also tried their shrimp tempura roll and it had the perfect balance of flavors—just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming.

The service was friendly and quick, and I appreciated how attentive the staff was without being pushy. The atmosphere was cozy, modern, and great for either a casual dinner or a date night. Prices were fair for the quality, and honestly, it felt like I was getting top-notch sushi without the high-end price tag.

What really stood out, besides the food, was the service. A huge shoutout to SHAWN, our server—he was super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. He made the whole dining experience even better.

Overall, this place is a gem—I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending...

Overall experience was sub par but average for the area.

The place is clean and organized with a good selection of food and drinks.

The waiters are attentive and quick.

The music Playlist was also good.

The part that ruined the experience for me was the quality of food the sushi was ok but nothing special...the steak in particular was over priced for the quality and quantity received.

When complained we were met with a brash obnoxious manager who said if the 160$ tomahawk steak wasn't good we shouldn't have ate it so she could show the chef. The steak was literally 40% fat I'm sure the chef noticed it when cooking it.

The less expensive steak I think it was the porterhouse was a great deal at half the price and double the quality.

Overall I think this place is ok but would need to quickly correct its initial mistakes and understand that customer satisfaction should be prioritized over any insignificant short...
