Although the food is beyond delicious, when you order for delivery, it's 50/50 that you get someone who is professional and treats you like a human being. The girls are great, but if they can't answer a question (which can happen), you're greeted with a unprofessional nasty man who has no patience in the world (wish I took down his name). I get it, you have a business to run, but that doesn't justify for you to speak to your customers like that. Called today for a delivery. Provided a credit card number and included a tip. 40 minutes later they called back stating I have to pick it up from the restaurant because they don't deliver to my address. Why did it take 40 minutes to establish that? I have to drive to the place and hope i get what I ordered, AND make sure I get reimbursed for the tip. Ordering for at least 2 years, (even recommended this place to friends and family) at least $100 worth each time. Best food ever in comparison to other Italian restaurants in the neighborhood..and I tip generously because i appreciate those who come and deliver my food (rain, snow, heat), even though I had a delivery man yelling at me that he won't come upstairs because it's an inconvenience for HIM. Going to the restaurant, the staff tried to play it off that I did not give a tip. But after speaking to them and showing proof of the order, with a little hesitation I'm a bit surprised they "refunded" whatever was owed back. Unfortunately, this is probably the last time I order....

Update : there is now a group of men setting up chairs on sidewalk like the refugees in Manhattan
They have a delivery boy who drives around a white Acura.
His entire rear bumper is destroyed from crashing into cars on the block as he parks as close to a service door as he can. I assume for distance as he doesn't want to walk around the building 50 feet.
This is very upsetting to live on the block and know there is ample parking and a parking pad on site. I ask management to please suggest a better parking arrangement as he is constantly bumping into peoples cars.
Pizza is good. Delivery drivers are out of control and the large man who sets up base camp outside the restaurant and takes up the entire sidewalk...
Read moreI’ve ordered from just about every pizzeria in the Pelham Bay/Throgs Neck area. I haven’t ordered from Lorettas in a very long time because their take out pies are the smallest in the area. (I was a faithful customer for many years up until about 12 years ago.) Their pizza is delicious though. So I thought I’d give it another shot and ordered tonight, I got the specialty pie, sausage, peppers and onions and a plain pie. Again the pies were considerably smaller than other local shops and for $28 the specialty pie had hardly any sausage on it. It was disappointing to say the least. My kids eat in and say it’s great but take out is disappointing. I won’t be ordering from there anymore sadly, but I will be honest and say the pizza does taste great. $50 for two pies is not cheap, I felt slightly robbed for what I...
