Guys, do not buy cakes here. Avoid at all cost!

They sold me a “tres leches” old cake with fresh toppings. I couldn’t eat and no one in my house could. I had a little piece and left the whole cake to call next morning and report the old cake.

Next morning, I called and I asked to speak to the owner. He refused saying that the cake was not old and I insisted it was so I decided to take it to the store. They cut the cake and each have a piece while the owner left. The lady told me that the cake was fresh and that she was eating it fine. She told me “ I remembered you from yesterday, and I sold you the cake, and I know is fresh because on each cake, I put dates on it, and each cake are made fresh daily”. My question is, if the cakes are “fresh, made daily” why you need to put the dates on the cakes?

She refuse to give me a refund or exchange the cake, so I left without the cake, an exchange or refund. I didn’t feel like arguing and they should take ownership for selling an old cake and just keep customer happy by refunding or exchanging it. By doing that, you gain, you gain a customer, customer loyalty. Take the fault and move own. Avoid avoid. Got food poisoning after that. Avoid...

The cake was gorgeous everyone kept asking where I got it from especially the people at the restaurant which I happily shared. The service was great it exceeded my expectations with reasonable pricing. For sure made my birthday that more special as it was a cake I was eyeing for quite some time.
