I would recommend this day care to anyone, no doubt about it. My daughter and son started attending Papayas 2 years ago. He was 2 and she was only 3 months. It was a scary moment for us because I had to go back to work and after visiting quite a few daycares, we didn't think we would even find one where we could leave them without a doubt in our minds that they would get the proper care that they deserved, the proper education (intellectual & emotional), as well as helping them develop their motor skills. From the minute I met with the director I knew it was the right place for them. Their mission to dedicate their all to the kids is admireable. They are extremely cautious in choosing their staff. My children love to be there and they absolutely love Titi Nani's food 😊. My daughter who just turned two can communicate effectively not only with us but with others who are not around her often. Most people are impressed with her communication skills (thanks to Papayas). Our son who is 4 now has also developed the ability to communicate in ways that are shocking. He chooses words that we would never imagine a 4 year old could use appropriately. He has developed an amazing ability to create relationships and genuinely care for others. He's seldomly selfish. Today both our children are bilingual (again thanks to Papayas). Brenda & Junior go above and beyond not only for our kids but for our family. Not only are they concerned for their well being during business hours but after hours as well. They have helped us go through changes as a family and those are moments that we will forever be grateful for. Papayas owners and staff have become a family to us. Safety is their #1 priority and We are very confident in that our kids are well cared for. I would recommend for anyone to visit a few places before visiting papayas and I'm sure you will find very few if any that...
Read moreI'm way more neurotic than the typical neurotic mom and I have to say that Papaya's Place has given me more peace of mind than I could have ever dreamed of having in the year and month my son has been at 178 Richmond Street!!! The owners always accommodate to the best of their ability and the ladies that care for him have developed an incredible bond with him and are truly his (our) extended family. Initially, it was very hard to leave my 8 month old son but the fact that the daycare is so clean, warm, inviting and very well run made his transition easy for both of us. The ladies are extremely nurturing and patient with all the children. I love that birthdays and holidays are celebrated and that occasionally a picture is sent that has captured a special moment. The ladies go above and beyond daily returning his bottles, sippy cups, etc. clean and replenished with water for our long ride home. I must also mention that if my son is feeling a bit under the weather because he teething for instance, I know that the ladies will do their best to make sure he comfortable throughout the day. I am very pleased with his physical, cognitive and social development (which is also reported regularly verbally, through texts and in an annual report card)!!! He's also learning Spanish which is a most welcome bonus!!! To date, I have no complaints and highly recommend...
Read moreMy daughter is 2 and has been in Papaya for about 5 months now I have to say that I drop her off with a peace in mind knowing that she is in good hands. After visiting some daycare's I was having such a hard time deciding on where to put her because of the fear of leaving my busy 2 year old in someone else's care but after meeting with the director Brenda and Junior I left knowing this was where I want her to be and now these ladies and Junior make me feel like I chose the right place (by the way my daughter is always mentioning Nany she calls her titi) that says a lot. Not only do I feel like they take care of her so well my daughter has also learned so much with them too. I also love that they speak to her in Spanish it's like if she is right at home. I can't forget to mention my 2 year old is a very picky, difficult eater and to know that my daughter is atleast eating in "school" like she says is another major plus I can go on and on I have nothing but good things to say thus far. Thank you Papaya staff keep up...
