Waste of $30. I've been to the Dominican Republic over 4 times and visited Santiago (twice), Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo, and Punta Cana. I have a relative living in Santiago that took me to all the amazing food trucks and restaurants. I wanted an authentic Chimi and quipe. After reading the reviews, I decided to try this spot. I ordered a beef chimi ($12) and was disappointed after one bite. I realized it was a steak chimi. The steak has an unpleasant smell and chewy texture with fats on it. It was disgusting and I couldn't eat anymore of it. I fed the rest of the meat to a stray cat. I didn't like the texture of the quipe. Could be crisper and the flavor was ok. Chicken empanadas were basic. Would not recommend this place. There's a chimi food truck a few blocks away with people waiting around 11 pm. I wish I saw...
