This food it so good! I was trying them out for the first time so wanted to sample a few things.

King Oyster Mushrooms - very yummy with a mango sauce. Lightly batter and chewy.

Pumpkin Soup - so nourishing on a cold night.

Sweet and Sour - This dish was lovely. I miss my fave that I have been eating since I was little - Sweet and Sour Chicken, so this was a great vegan substitute. Only bad thing is not enough rice is sent with the main dishes! I have never in my entire 50+ year life, had a tiny rice box, like this, from a Chinese restaurant. You will need to order extra rice. I only took one star because of having to cook more rice.

Cold Green Tea Sesame Noodles - These were incredible and my favorite thing I ordered. Very...

I was told about this place several years ago but kind of brushed it off .... "Vegan Asian in Brooklyn, been there, done that." Boy was I wrong ... Let's start with ambiance, cool, dimly lit, jazzy even in the afternoon. The garden is delightful - it's a refreshing break from the norm ... perfect for friends, couples, and/or single patrons. For starters, I had scallion pancake .... drizzled with teriyaki sauce and pineapple bits, it was exceptional. Then I had the general tso's lunch special complete with spring roll and salad. It was delicious as well. Service was kind, thoughtful and thorough. Like the previous review mentioned.... it's giving "Why didn't I come here sooner" but now that you know ... just come...

Don't know who is leaving 5 star reviews, not the Asians! The food is a westerner's take on Asian food, a poor one at best. Extremely bland. Friend had the dumplings, no idea what the fillng was but it was not good. I had the rice noodles, which for 14 dollars, plus an expectation for tip, was nothing more than shop-bought instant rice noodle, vegetables, tofu and a very watered down shop-bought miso paste. This is not a restaurant, but likely a place you would go to for drinks and chat with friends, as the food is apparently not made by a chef. If you're looking for good vegan Asian food, there are several great vegetarian restaurants in Chinatown which do serve...

We had an excellent dinner here on a Thursday night. It was earlier in the evening so we were the only ones inside, which made it a nice and cozy dinner for two. Our server was attentive and responsive. We each had an appetizer, two drinks, and a main course. Absolutely devoured every single thing. I particularly enjoyed the mango rum cocktail. The food was fresh and flavorful, and my vegan husband truly enjoyed the fact that everything on the menu was accessible to him. This will likely become a neighborhood favorite for us. We’ll be back soon!

Why didn’t I come here earlier? I’ve been asking myself everyday since my first visit last week! The extensive vegan menu is absolutely mind blowing. I want to try every item on it. The relaxed and stylish interior vibes are also wonderful. I had a rice bowl and eggplant appetizer and both were amazing. The rice in the bowl was cooked just perfectly and the skewer was really flavorful with a nice texture. From a sustainability perspective, they used all reusable utensils for dine in. Can’t wait to go back and try more items!
