So this is what happened on August - 26 -2025
My business credit card got run at this business for the amount of $125.48
And here’s the fun part I don’t live in New York So once the card got run for the amount, my bank went ahead and declined it because obviously it was a scam
As soon as I got the information which would’ve been instant I automatically called this business nobody answered. I left a very detailed message to give me a call back.
Which at this point no callback nobody’s tried At all to return my call
So then today, August 27, 2025 at 10:30 AM I called once again and no answer
I’m not putting this on the business of city star mini market but for them to allow this to occur is beside me
Once I called about this Fouad Aunt scam of running my card for the amount that’s a specific amount it would’ve been fresh in whoever rung the person up for those items they was trying to purchase therefore we would’ve got a picture an image of the person that was trying to purchase these items with my business credit card
And justice would’ve been served right then and there now which the Business probably doesn’t record and save their daily videos it’ll probably be gone, but no need to worry because I canceled that card and my bank refund refunded the amount
So again, I repeat when you read this comment this is not about tearing down city star main market
This is about not contacting me back in regards to a hard work in American that works very hard for every dollar he has trying to scam me out of $125.48 now I have to wait for a new business card to come in completely have to call every merchant that I pay with that card number and give them new card information. It’s a real big...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, but Lucky Star Deli seriously pushed me to my limit. This place is a complete disaster from the moment you walk in. The place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the early 2000s—sticky floors, dusty shelves, and that weird smell that makes you want to hold your breath while ordering.
The guy behind the counter had a full-on attitude like I was bothering him by simply ordering a sandwich. No greeting, no eye contact, just a nasty vibe all around. I asked for a basic bacon, egg, and cheese, and not only did it take forever, but what I got was a cold, soggy mess slapped together with zero care. The bread was stale, the eggs were rubbery, and the bacon tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since last week.
To top it off, they overcharged me and acted like I was the problem when I pointed it out. No apology, no correction, just pure arrogance. The whole energy in that place is off—rude workers, disorganized, and overpriced for garbage food.
Lucky Star? More like Unlucky Waste of Time. I don’t know how this place is still open. Save yourself the regret and go literally anywhere else. Zero...
Read moreIf you need anything from the deli ask for my man Chef Chris! He's usually on after 2:30p everyday. Not only is he if not the best chef, one of the best in NYC, he's an effin machine; fast, efficient, friendly, and passionate about his art. As busy as the store is with hundreds of people in and out every hour Chris, along with the rest of the crew knows their clientele and renders personalized services. Whenever I step foot inside and see my man Chris working the deli all I gotta do is say "one" or "two" and I'm taking care of. Very consistent and down to Earth people to do your...
