I came here with my parents because we thought the food was going to be amazing because of the advertising in social media saying the food is good here. We traveled all the way from New Jersey to see how good the food was without checking the reviews through google first… My dad ordered the Pineapple Juice Jalapeño Mezcal and it looks nothing like the presentation from the menu. When my dad tasted it he described the flavor as too acid like if it was vinegar with ice and had no flavor. Once the food came in my dads tacos you can see in the picture the cilantro looks spoiled and not fresh. He said the meat of the taco tasted old and was flavorless. In my order of Birria tacos for some reason it included that specific onion in which I’ve eaten in Dominican dishes and not Mexican dishes (you can also see in the consome the cilatro was bad too). In my moms tacos her tortilla was soggy because of the amount of water from the meat. Also aside from that this restaurant needs to fix the presentation on the server. The server looks very unprofessional and looked like she was going to the gym with a crop top and shorts that were nearly revealing her butt and looked vulgar… This atmosphere from the server did not feel family friendly and more like hooters because in my opinion as a restaurant that would want to professionally represent themselves they would not have someone wearing revealing clothes serving the clients. There is so much space for improvement in this restaurant. Including the music did not really have any Mexican representation in it but more of Dominican representation. Also we aren’t sure if they included the tip in the food we ordered and according to the reviews they do charge tip but we did not see anything about the tip. And if they did include the tip then this place scammed us because we did not want to leave extra money. As always this isn’t to point out the bad or negative but to demonstrate what IMPROVEMENT there needs to be!! Every small thing counts to make clients happy to come back to eat at this place. The decorations of the restaurant is very nice.

ps: Although my dad ordered that drink the waitress noticed he didn’t like it (because he didn’t finish it) and she said she can’t take it off the check bill but she can switch it for something else and my dad rejected the offer from the disappointment...

Steak tacos with a side of bone marrow?! I can get down with that! This is the first time I’ve come across this combo and when I saw this on their menu, I knew I had to try it. Each order comes with three tacos and one beef bone marrow (cut in half). You are meant to spread the bone marrow onto the taco where it melts into the meat and creates a somewhat luxurious taco. You don’t need to put much but I do recommend adding salt and/or a squeeze of lime. I feel like the bone marrow adds a certain something to the tacos. The steak becomes more luscious and more buttery without being greasy. Highly recommend getting this dish.

Other items we tried during other visits were the Fish Tacos, Guacamole with Chips and the Stuffed Churros. The house made guac is quite good. It had nice texture and flavor; just wished it came with more chips to scoop it up with. The Fish Tacos were very tasty. The pieces of fish were small but flavorful. And the Stuffed Churros were so yummy! They were stuffed with some kind of jam and came with a small chocolate dipping sauce. The combination of crunchy, hot churros coated with sugar and stuffed with tangy jam dipped in the dark chocolate sauce was amazing.

Since they opened last week, I’ve been by twice and I plan on coming back for more. I’m sure there are more hidden gems on the menu that I...

I was really excited for the $20 unlimited tacos special but was left kinda disappointed ngl.

Food (specifically for the unlimited taco tuesday):

The options are limited to Carnitas, Pollo, al Pastor, Chorizo, and veggie. We tried everything but the veggie taco.

The tacos were smaller than I expected but I wasn’t bothered by this. They were accompanied by limes and radish as well as two choices of hot sauce.

The chorizo and pollo were dry while the carnitas and al pastor were extremely oily, specially the carnitas. My boyfriend had to douse his chicken tacos in hot sauce even though he doesn’t have the highest spice tolerance because they were just THAT dry. I doused my carnitas tacos in lime because I needed something to cut through the grease.

Vibe/service/atmosphere:

I did really enjoy the overall vibe/atmosphere. And my tamarind margarita was also really good. I see myself coming back here for drinks with my friends during happy hour. I enjoyed the music and everyone around me seemed to be having a good time. I appreciated that all of our servers were bilingual and seemed overall kind. Our tacos were out pretty fast which was great!

Conclusion: Honestly, there are better deals out there. But if you happen to be in the area, then come check it out and form your own opinion...
