There was no other internet service provider for my building and I had no choice. I made a reservation to pick up self install hardware and when I got there the machine didn't accept my confirmation number. Glad they have COVID scheduling though... And the guy was helpful and accepted my appointment anyway. A customer was arguing loudly with another store clerk for a refund and he wasn't getting anywhere and more people were coming in, and there were only two staff.
I imagined how that will probably me next year or whenever I go to return the modem. I put in a request for Fios in my area 😬 fingers crossed. I hope I don't get hit with an insane upcharge but $50/mo package will become $70/mon in one year from starting then $80/mo starting your second year, based on what a local reported. Yeeesh. Don't expect them to be transparent with pricing lol the store clerk told me none of this info 🙄 spectrum has a monopoly in this area. Your alternative is RCN which I had before and they are worse when it comes to reliability and upcharge.

First the internet device kept disconnecting from electricity cable so i glued it. YET, the internet still disconnects by itself multiple times during the day. It’s so annoying and inconvenient when i am working on something important online and it cuts in the middle of my work. And then i have to wait 10-15 minutes each time for mr internet device to come back on the time it wishes. Called customer service. They brought us 3 technicians and none of them knew how to fix the problem, how embarrassing. Now i am 100% sure about my transfer to another...
