There's a cashier in this deli who rips off customers. 40s-50s, short, medium build, a little salt and pepper hair, wears a cap. He'll enter the name of an item in the register but instead of completing the transaction through the register, he'll give you change from the side and he'll overcharge you.
For example, this morning I got a breakfast sandwich for $2.75. He took the $3 and never gave me change. And when I asked about it, he said it's taxes. But he never actually completed the transaction in the register. He also did this a few weeks ago when he took $1.75 from a little kid for an item that was $0.75. So he is either stealing money from the business owner by keeping the cash for himself or he is acting under the direction of the owner to not officially track each transaction.
It's really unfortunate because I like this deli. I like that it's 24/7. I like all of the other guys who work there; they're super cool.

Read moreI've let them know before that one of their employees, as many people here already previously stated, pretends to scan your items and then overcharges them by about a dollar. It's 5am and I needed midol and advice packets that are typically at most $1.25 each. Somehow I ended up being charged $3.50. I went back and asked why the hell I'm being charged an extra dollar for something I already purchased today. I go to that store almost everyday. I can't imagine stealing from customers or from my place of employment while on camera, or in full display of the customers and other employees. I can definitely tell you I'll be back tomorrow to let someone else know that he steals, I'm pretty sure we all know which employee I'm referring to. And I'll make sure the store is full of customers before I begin letting the entire store know they're better off going DOWN THE BLOCK TO THE OTHER STORE ON BEECH & KISENNA
UPDATE: THEY STILL DO IT, OVERSHARGE AND STEAL CHANGE, . AND HALF OF THE...
Read moreI hate this place they keep on changing the price on everything, for sandwiches they charge you extra for lettuce, tomato, onions pickles or any extra condiment that doesn't come on the sandwich they charge $0.50 for a cotton bag, they charge 50 Cent for a plain empty coffee cup the sandwiches are always below subpar and they never toast the bread they gave my friend's girlfriend food poisoning because the mayonnaise was old they are very rude and when you try to tell them that they have done something wrong they always make it out to be your fault and they like to kick you out the store the only convenient thing about this place is that it is one block away from my house and they also sell expired food items in their store such as pastries or candies or sometimes food items that they put in sandwiches and they overcharge and always argue that that's the new price something has to be done with this store I hope they get...
