Matari Coffee Co — Restaurant in New York

I hate to leave a bad review, but I felt very disrespected by being served a cup of coffee that looks like any thing but latte , I order a very simple drink LATTE . This place is a coffee shop not just a regular coffee shop it's a specialty coffee shop , and they are charging premium prices for what's its called premium coffee but the preparation was very very bad that I really felt disrespected and shocked how can a barista serve such a cup . I took it back to have it remade and the other girl was shocked as well asking me what is this . Then I've been told the milk was bad and they made another one to me but unfortunately it was undrinkable. It's such nicely built Cafe should have real baristas working behind the counter, otherwise this...

this place is excellent if you want the Muslim/Brown people coffee and tea experience.

if you've ever been to Kava House in Manhattan, this place is a very similar vibe. Kava House is great btw 😁

the design of this place is really modern and the shop itself is very cool, not sure how else to describe it. they have a few different levels and areas for seating.

they have delicious desserts. we got an espresso infused chocolate cake, which was delicious. it was like a tiramisu with a bit of strong coffee taste to it

finally, the drinks are really great. my group got a pot of tea and it made the cups for each of us. the tea was sweet and hot and really took me back to drinking chai with my parents.

I visited this coffee shop on Saturday, 5/10. A girl (not wearing a hijab) was working at the counter. I ordered several shots of espresso, but my drink was extremely watery and lacked flavor. When I politely asked her to fix it, she rolled her eyes, turned to her friends, and made exaggerated faces as if I was bothering her. She acted like a simple request was a huge inconvenience. Her attitude was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She didn’t apologize, and even after remaking the drink, it was still just as bad — watery and weak. I was charged for every shot of espresso and left with a terrible drink and even worse service. Because of her behavior, my family and I will never return. Management seriously needs to address how customers...
