Where do I even start?! Called to make an order for 3 people. I wanted a good amount of food because I was going over to a friend. I had asked for a pound and half of the fried mix, I received a plate with mostly calamari and 4 shrimps exactly. I started to taste the food and I can immediately tell that the shrimp and calamari used for the fried mix and the tajin are frozen not fresh. The fish was not horrible but definitely had way better. You can get iced down fresh fish here. While I was waiting for a cab, I was admiring the way they displayed the fish all facing the sidewalk. I love fresh fish and know the tells of an older caught fish....cloudy eyes and of course the smell. It's rare that any fish store would let you smell the fish before you buy it especially if they're real busy. Anyway, I popped inside and bought some fresh salmon steaks. NOT RECOMMENDED!! The place is supposed to let you choose what fish you want and how you want it cooked. Instead, the boys tried to convince us to get a different fish than what we wanted. The fish was cooked with its scales and barely seasoned. That ruined the entire experience. The price changes based on how you look like.
