Hi Sal, I've known your family for many years. You know me and I know you. I'm very aggrivated. Not only does the gentleman with the lazy eye that works for you speaks Spanish when English people are right in front of him but I know Spanish fluently. THE STAFF WILL NOT DOWN TALK ME OR MY PARTNER IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE OR DISREPECTFULLY. You def should not have that pizza maker . He sucks . He burns every pie I ever order. Which leads me to believe there's a problem with your oven. He shouldn't be arguing with customer and he should loss his cocky attitude. I'm sick of paying for food that doesn't taste like the original Phil's. Your father was a great man and he would not like this guy acting how he does when you aren't there. My grandma owned the pharmacy for years and she agrees. Not the same. Let me give you some help ful tips. Too much cheese on everything. It's not good like that it ruins the Taste of the food and I could imagine if your using grande mozzarella it's expensive. The spices are always burnt. Not enjoyable like that . Everytime I get a chicken roll it's burnttttttt. This week we ordered a few pie not enough sauce and way to much cheese . When my partner confronted the worker he had a huge attitude and said we didn't have to come back. I've been coming since I was 12! I. 36 now .... This guy doesn't know who I am that's for sure but I am done dealing with it. I think your staff needs a change . I don't wanna be the reason the entire hospital stops ordering but I'll put up a petition if something isn't done. I demand respect and when I pay for my food I will get it. Makes me question how clean they are always touching his hair then nose then touching food. Finding hair in my pizza is just rediculous. I should have saved the hair and sent it to a lab for testing . I'm more then mad this has been going on for a while. It's rediculous your the only pizza left on main St and your team is destroying your...

I've ordered from them many times and they have consistently taken over an hour, sometimes up to two although they are less than a mile away. I always tip generously and am cordial. Their food is mediocre at best, but always reaches me cold. The only reason I order from this place is because of their close proximity and range of items offered. This time is where I finally draw the line. The 1st time I called to inquire about the wait, the woman that answered was clueless, dismissive and indifferent, giving me the old "it'll be there any minute now". The 2nd time was to notify them of the missing items from my order and got put on hold for 10 minutes, to which they then said "oh the delivery guy forgot to take it with him". Shouldn't your staff have realized that there were orders sitting around when he left and all orders got fulfilled if that were actually true? So when I called up for the 3rd time frustrated and to cancel those missing items, I was told I don't deserve an apology because of my attitude. The manager then proceeded to lie about the time they received the order which I placed at 4:13pm, but received at 5:40pm. He said they received the order through fax at 5:14pm, but when I called at 5:20pm the woman that answered had no idea and then finally said it had left a long time ago. He continued to berate my concern as an industry professional and customer and mockingly offered a manager position. Overall, this place is only good when the food isn't cold and they actually adhere to their delivery estimate of 30-45 minutes, thereby avoiding any nightmarish interactions. But in truth, the level of arrogance and imprudence the manager has displayed pared with the imbecility and negligence of the staff proves this establishment is nothing but an unsavory run-of-the mill pizza joint posing as a restaurant. A dime a dozen, next time I'll be walking down the street to get...

I will give a 1 star because the pizza is good tasting, with that said costumer service is a big thing for me. I had a friend over and told her how good this pizza was and that I was going to order for her to try. I put in an order that totaled $25.50. My issue is, I've never seen any pizzeria charging me extra for marinara sauce for garlic knots, so I ask her just to make sure to send marinara sauce with them and she tells me if I wanted sauce (which usually, I mean always comes with it for free in other pizzeria) I'm like OK no problem, I'll pay the extra .50 cents. I asked her to send in garlic powder and pepper flakes please, OK...my order comes in, I open it... No garlic, no pepper flakes but whait!!! Even though she made sure to clarify to me that if I wanted sauce I had to pay for it, she still didn't send it, so I'm upset but I had ppl over so I let it pass. The next day I call and I tell her, I'm calling because I called yesterday ordered this and got charged for it but never received it. So, she just kept saying OK, OK, OK like an idiot. Then I add "so you know, if you charge for something send it" she says, OK" once again. No sorry or anything. I can't wait to take a walk there and ask for the owner and let him know what a great 10 year old he has answering the phone with an AWESOME attitude. No more business from this new...

I remember coming to this pizzeria when I was younger and just recently went back today. They have the usual menu of pizza, pasta, garlic bread, etc. The back has a small dining area with wait staff. The front area has more seating and tables and it's where you order food. We ordered two plain slices and the fish and chips. I thought the food was okay. Pizza was fresh and just came out of the oven. The fish and chips had a nice crust and was flaky. What really impressed me though was how very friendly the staff was. I noticed a mom and her two kids come in while I was eating. She ordered a slice of pizza for each of them and the staff person offered to cut up the pizza into smaller pieces for the kids. Wow, not many places do that or offer it without asking. Just for that, I plan on coming back and giving the food another try.

Good to see the return of Phil & Sons after a brief renovation. Flushing used to boast many pizzerias but over the years, a lot of them closed up shop. Places like Al Dente, Barones, Glorias and another one that used to be on Roosevelt near Union Street (forgot the name of that one). Phils is still standing after all these years. As usual, I had to get my favorites, a Sicilian and a Grandma slice with a Stewart’s. That’s been the move since I used to go to the old Phil & Sons spot that used to be across the street from St. John’s University.

Food portions were MASSIVE!! Amazing value for money! I ordered a slice of pizza and a carbonara , thinking the pizza could be my side. The carbonara arrived with a side of bread & I struggled to start the carbonara after eating the pizza slice 😅 leftovers for lunch it was! Staff were super friendly & I loved the authentic American NYC vibe too! My Grandad was in hospital & the staff were happy to accommodate and pack the food up for a doggy bag. Would happily go again!
