McDonald's — Restaurant in New York

This recent renovation has proven to be one of the biggest disappointments this Community has been thrusted upon. There is a frenetic vibe with people standing everywhere in the restaurant. You don't know if they are on line to order or if there is a line anywhere. There are so many people standing around waiting for their meals to be served. There were so many staff members working in the back looking lost and many milling about and discussing their personal lives with the cashier's as opposed to taking care of the customer who's right in front of them. This place is a total disaster, there was no visible Manager available that should have been honing in on this inexperienced staff who obviously looked like they were there to hangout instead of work. The sense of Community that the pre-renovated McDonald's once had has been lost and converted into this sterile new environment, that's fit to make money off of the Community but no thought was put into the natural flow and sense of Community that this McDonald's once represented. This has always been a busy fast food restaurant with many regulars throughout the years and many, if not more than now were served on. However, the difference between then and now is that at any given morning, noon or night there was never a frenetic vibe accompanied with the services that were provided. In fact, you could sit at a booth and truly enjoy your meal and there weren't all these people standing around looking lost. Now, all those niceties have been lost including a safe space where the elderly, children and families alike were able to sit or play for a while. It appears to me that this particular business owner has placed a higher value on making money and producing numbers rather than appreciating where the money is coming from and how the Community that traditionally has been supporting this place has totally been disregarded and forgotten. What a disappointment to realize that nothing good was actually taken into consideration to honor the Community and preserve the sense of Community that this McDonald's once represented in this residential neighborhood.

My last observation & most significant observation is that the newly frenetic environment that has been created and upheld by this new Administration & Staff since the short period that this McDonald's has been reopened is that there is an undeniable and palpable aggression being felt throughout the environment which already has easily been spread amongst several patrons out into the parking lot, who have had full, blown out, confrontational and heated screaming matches, verging on violent incidents...

Check your happy meal orders too they forget food inside those too unbelievable

Just left the girl who always sounds rude among other staff at the drive through and always rush you off well she took my order #1211 at the drive through and the staff forgot to put in an entire meal drove off and didn’t realize until I was home. Please if you buy food here check your bag before you leave the staff act like you are not there but make them pay attention if you don’t ask you won’t get your food. Lately the people taking orders at the drive through are lacking something. I’ll let management figure that out on there own. But it’s been in a small decline since renovation. Staff used to be very cheerful.. update. 2025 February 20 4pm. Just asked the girl handing me the food are my sauces in the bag she said yes!! which I selected on the app I was in a rush didn’t want to waist ten seconds digging through the bag And as I get home the sauces are not in rhe bag. Rude employee

Ordered drive thru and the employee was profusely rude to me when ordering. I felt rushed and felt the employee did not care to take my order. When I ordered the number 7, and mentioned how I wanted no onions and extra pickles, she dismissed it and told me "okay what else?" as if I mentioned that part already.

Also, when I ordered the 20 pc nuggets bundle, she did not ask me what sauce and I asked if it came with a drink. As i asked about the drink she cut me off and said "no it doesn't come with a drink" with a rude attitude.

After I was done with my order i thanked her and she said "okay next window". I was shocked at how rude someone can be to a customer THAT DID NOT EVEN DO ANYTHING WRONG. I understand if i was rude, but I was respectful to this employee who was rude and dismissive. My receipt says the name is Sidel, not sure if that was indeed her name. Overall, I felt rushed, dismissed, unwanted when ordering, and I didn't do anything wrong. And if you're miserable at a job with low pay, just quit or go somewhere else.
