I love going out & having hookah in one hand and a lamb chop in the other🥳✨ @mera.nyc is a Mediterranean restaurant & lounge in Brooklyn providing bomb crafted cocktails, bites, & live shows🥳 Also for my hookah lovers, I had lady killer & love 66 mixed for the first time and wow 🥹🤞🏾😮‍💨 @mera.nyc has live performers on Friday & Saturday such as drummers & belly dancers‼️ The truffle sliders were bomb & you can never go wrong with ordering lamb chops🤞🏾 Summer is basically here & I love any type of cocktail with cucumber in it. So make sure to order the Cucumber Cooler✨ @mera.nyc is perfect for any gathering whether it’s a girls night, birthday, or date night. I can’t wait to come back to try their bottomless brunch✨🤞🏾 So the next time you visit @mera.nyc , make sure to let them know who sent you🥳

Sometimes all we need is some Afro beats, throwbacks, and reggae in our life📍 Now on Sundays, @mera.nyc playing the vibes from reggae to Afro beats❗️ This was the perfect vibe to end the weekend. Especially with the live saxophonist, @jrob_ib ✨ So this was the perfect date night❤️ If you don’t try @mera.nyc lamb burger you are really missing out. It was super juicy and tender 😋 So if you’re looking for a vibe tomorrow, make sure to make your reservation at @mera.nyc and let them know who sent you🥳

I was part of a larger party that wasn’t properly accommodated in multiple ways that left my friends and I in complete frustration. First off I realized that we had a very tight sitting area, if our party was 14+ maybe consider opening up more room? This caused us to drop the hookah because of the close confined space where the coal dropped on my friend’s jacket and burned through. Second, when one of our friends wrote a review, the waiter confronted us about it while we were eating and rudely told us we should have asked them and told them how to make it better. But how can we tell them “how to make it better” when we got our food extra late and on top of that not everyone got their food at the same time. One of our friends got their food almost 2 hours late after sitting down. Hookah was sub par and extremely overpriced. And whenever the waiter spoke to us, he would repeatedly take off his mask. Third, food was just bland and didn’t taste good at all, if you’re going to make us wait over an hour at least, at least make the food worthy. Fourth, when we got the bill, they initially forgot gratuity so they took our original bill and gave us another. Then they ended up charging us 25 bucks to cut cake? On top of that we had to ask for the rest of the cake before we left instead of them giving it to us. Pros? Dj and ambiance was on point 💯 All in all, if you’re serving a big group and tell them you can accommodate, please try to abide by that and don’t try to overcompensate. Especially since people are fasting and shouldn’t have have to wait 1-2 hours for food. I feel like this place has a lot of potential but the kinda meh right now.

Decided to support a local restaurant but left feeling disappointed and disrespected.

We ordered our food through UberEats and my gf went to go pick it up. There was a party happening and she didnt know there was a back entrance for pickup orders. There was no hostess and only after a few minutes did a staff member appear behind the bar in which she was told to walk back outside and around to the back. The back entrance was not labeled and there was a sign on the floor that said to wait here for an attendant for valet parking. When she entered, again there was no staff member in sight. Finally a female staff member walks by to the kitchen but completely ignores her as if she wasnt there. She walked back out with some food and again pays no attention to her even after shes been standing there for a few minutes. She approached the staff member asking for our order only for the staff member to respond in the rudest tone to "go into the kitchen and ask for it". My gf did think she might have been on a break or something given the staff member dipped into the side room and was eating some food, but that is not how you should treat a customer or even just another person. I have also never had to go to the kitchen to pick up my own food. My gf finally picked up the food but left very upset.

Now for the food... Overpriced and not worth it. Mushroom linguine (3/5) we ordered two since uber had a buy one get one deal. My gfs had no flavor while my was mildy flavorful. There also werent many mushrooms in her dish. It is a mushroom linguine afterall, how can there be a lack of mushrooms? Didnt taste too different than if we were to make it at home ourselves honestly, and we're no chefs!

Mushroom croquette (4/5) probably our favorite dish as it was very crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. It came with a side of truffle olive oil aioli which was good but didnt taste of truffle even though you can see the specs.

Truffle beef sliders (3/5) patty was overcooked but otherwise okay. Nothing special. Also came with a side of truffle aioli. Other than the side aioli, there was nothing truffle about it. Its really just a regular slider with sauce on the side

Overall, we DO NOT recommend this establishment and will NOT be coming back. If the staff member was that rude during the few seconds of interaction, i can only imagine the service or lack there of. We would give it a second chance if the food were good but even that was mediocre and not worth the price they...

My boyfriend surprised me by bringing me here last night on a Valentine’s Day date. We had a reservation at 9pm. We were asked to stand by the bar by the hostess while she got our table ready. After 30 minutes of waiting we were noticing other people who came in after us being seated before us. We asked when our table would be ready and she apologized and admitted she forgot about us. She then sat us at the next available table where we waited 40 minutes before the waiter even gave us a menu! Then we kept having to hunt him down to actually order. After ordering we received our salad and COLD fried calamari. Besides it being cold it wasn’t bad but I’m not sure if this was because we were starving so anything would have tasted good. We ordered a round of drinks while we waited for our main course and the waiter brought out the wrong drink and only 1 of the 2 drinks we had ordered. After a while we asked where our food was and the waiter stated that they had ran out of the chicken but had I not asked I would still be sitting there waiting on my food that would never come. I changed my order to the salmon and another 20 minutes go by before he comes back to tell me that they had ran out of salmon also so the waiter stated he would only charge us for the salad and calamari that we received. Then around MIDNIGHT someone came from the kitchen with 2 salmon plates packed to go. The service was so terrible but luckily the music was great and the drinks weren’t bad.

I had originally wanted to come here with a large group of friends for dinner but after this experience I definitely won’t be bringing my friends here. I get that it was Valentine’s Day so a busy establishment was expected however they were not prepared and it showed. They had 1 waiter for such a packed restaurant restaurant and how do you run out of food options at 10pm? We ended up just having drinks and doing hookah but with how expensive the night was we could of just went to a local bar honestly if we weren’t going to get to eat. We made the best of it but it was unfortunate,...

I don’t know where to begin!! We decided to host a small birthday party (15 people) at Mera and it went like this… First off, we were able to make a reservation with the owner who was extremely helpful and professional. He recommended the time we should make the reservation so that we can enjoy their amazing entertainment. Additionally, he was able to recommend which appetizers were best to share family style and we were able to order it ahead of time. Upon Arrival we were greeted by him and his amazing staff and were seated. His hostess helped us arrange the balloons we brought on the table and offered us drinks right away. No reminder needs as the staff noticed most of our party was already there, they brought out all of our apps.

The food was absolutely FRESH & AMAZING!! The Mediterranean poppers are to die for!!! The drinks were amazing, I don’t think we had a guest who did not enjoy their food and drinks. For the first time, everyone’s order was correct and cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Anzu, was AMAZING!! He made sure our guest were satisfied with everything and not to mention he made our bomb drinks!!

THE ENTERTAINMENT; I am honestly speechless when it comes to the entertainment at Mera. The DJ was AMAZING, where can you find an establishment that caters to all kinds cultures? He played reggaeton, European, Arabic, Russian, American, and much more. The staff are really involved with the entertainment and really get the party going!! We had people from age 18-75 at our party and everyone was dancing! The belly dancer was amazing and everyone really enjoyed the show. There was also a Saxophone show but sadly we did not stay that long. If you’re planning on coming please stay until closing, I wish I did!

Lastly, let’s talk about price!! I honestly wanted to pay more because I couldn’t believe how affordable it was. Once you experience a night at Mera, you will understand exactly what I mean! Highly recommend for parties of all ages and sizes!

P.S. I wish I had pictures to post but I was having too much fun and forgot to...
