Terrible Service & Terrible People.

The owner, Nutsa, has withheld $140 from me since July. I was not aware that I was subscribed to her monthly subscription and instead of offering me a refund when I showed concerns, she insisted that there are no refunds and that I needed to come in to take the classes. Panicking, I filed a claim with my bank. She later offered a refund, which she took back after seeing that I opened a claim. After months of going back and forth, I caved under stress and gave in to just taking the classes.

She said that she would update me when the studio opened in September. It’s now September 2nd and I have still yet to have an update or an answer to my follow-up text sent on August 26 last Tuesday.

This experience has really repulsed me from this establishment. Very unprofessional, very rude, and would very much NOT RECOMMEND.

Save yourself and go somewhere that will value you more than your money.

As a student at Brooklyn Hipsters Dance Studio, I am confident to say it has been an amazing experience and changed my life in the best way possible. This studio is perfect for anyone who loves dancing, specifically hip hop, but it's much more than just a place to dance. It’s a positive and welcoming environment where everyone feels included, no matter their level of experience. Nutsa is so talented, she has amazing skills and a strong passion for teaching. You can really see the effort she puts into every class, she always makes sure we not only learn the moves but also enjoy ourselves. The energy is always so fun which makes each class something I look forward to. This studio is where I get to express myself through dancing and be surrounded by people who support each other. I wanted to share to everybody that Brooklyn Hipsters Dance Studio is the best place I could possibly find for my kids. They are both in love with dancing and their instructor Nutsa who is a beautiful and talented dancer and teacher I have ever met.
