The sushi is always fresh and delicious. And avocado is always perfect in rolls or salads. Very nice stuff. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it! This is a Naniwa roll. It's really good. Also ordered Crazy Dragon roll, tobico roll and sake. Lychee Sake is delicious and ordered fried green tea ice cream for dessert. Best place in Bensonhurst/Gravesend area! Very cozy atmosphere, lites are a bit dim and it makes it even better. Great for casual date night or lunch date as well! And their green tea is delicious. It's green tea with toasted brown rice. They also sell it in a big package. Comes from Japan. Best tea I ever had from Japanese restaurants. And it's never diluted like others.

The restaurant is located in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered two bento boxes. Both boxes included an entree, side salad, soup, three shumai and California roll. The sushi and sashimi bento box included four pieces of sushi and four pieces of sashimi. The salmon teriyaki bento box included a generous portion of salmon and white rice. I also received a free California roll. The food was well-prepared and very good value. Friendly and helpful staff.

My favorite cute sushi place! 💕🍣 The staff is super kind and they did a surprise for me on my birthday by a free fried cake! The staff is WAYY TOO KIND and the best!! Prices are decent for the best sushi I have ever tasted, they are always made fresh and delicious. The atmosphere of the place is beautiful and symbolizes the culture of Japan and also is one of my fav hidden gems near me :)

Naniwa Sushi presents a refined and memorable dining experience that surpasses typical expectations. My recent lunch visit revealed a cozy, intimate ambiance that perfectly sets the stage for an enjoyable meal. The staff's attentiveness and warm hospitality further enhance the dining experience, making guests feel genuinely welcome.

The lychee sake stood out as a highlight, offering an elegant blend of sweetness with a subtle complexity that was both refreshing and satisfying. The shrimp hibachi was meticulously prepared, showcasing rich, savory flavors that were expertly balanced and deeply satisfying. However, the California roll, while generally well-executed, had an overabundance of avocado, which slightly overshadowed the other flavors in the roll.

Overall, Naniwa Sushi is a true hidden gem, offering a culinary experience that is both sophisticated and deeply enjoyable. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to explore more of their thoughtfully curated menu. Thank you for providing such an...

This place is right off the N train station. The interior is cute with some lovely art and they're able to accommodate a large group about 10 people. The staffs are really sweet and kind. The prices are incredible compared to other sushi restaurants.

The appetizers are on the smaller size. For appetizers we got the kani salad, which is really good so we usually order like 2-3 of them. The rock shrimp was delicious too, served in a tall glass. Next we had the crab cakes and it was unexpectedly small but still very tasty! The edamame were great too- they add salt for better flavor.

For sushi, there's like 42 special rolls and some of my favorites are sex on the beach, tiffany roll, yummy roll, special kani roll, AK-47 roll. When you come here, skip the water and ask for the tea, it's one of the tastiest teas I've had, it's green tea...

Why I gave this place a 1 star. This place has been here for awhile, and I've never went back after this incident (read on).

The last time I came here was late 2014 or early 2015. During the cold winter months. My friends ordered the typical california roll, sashimi order. I was still picking my order on the menu, when I noticed a bug on the table. It was a small cockroach. Needless to say, I didn't order dinner that night at that restaurant.

In my opinion: There's just so many sushi restaurants that if you are willing to travel a little further, it gets better. For instance, 86th street, bay parkway, avenue U. I believe competition in business builds quality. That way the customer would return to the...
