First two times coming here were good, pretty pricey but good. I had Nicole and she did my nails beautifully. However today I needed a last minute gel filling and the woman on the phone said gel manicure. So when I came in there was a confusion about my appointment. Proceeded to take me and do my nails but had two people working on me in a hurry. I finished off with Nicole and started to dry my last layer. I took my hand out and she took my hand and shoved it back in. I was shocked but kept my cool. I went to the counter to pay and reminded her I got a pedicure as well so my total came out to $98 Pretty shock on how much for a filling and a pedicure with three broken nails but still paid and gave a five dollar tip (while Nicole is literally hovering over me making sure I give a tip). Nicole says to me “oh wow five dollars for three people working on you today”(even though that was their decision not mine). If my hand wasn’t shoved into the dryer and wasn’t being hovered over like i am a child I would have given a higher tip. That was my sign that this was my last...
Read moreI’ve been to a lot of nail places in brooklyn and manhattan, but this place is fantastic, an absolute gem after the re-management! The interior is beautiful, it really feels like a spa. Everything is well maintained and clean. The workers are so nice and ask you for anything to accommodate, they have nearly everything you need for nail art and even have foreign brands including Japanese and chinese gel. I can never find salons with this type of gel. They have so many cute gels with jelly products too! So trendy!!
I usually get allergic reactions to gel, but I haven’t experienced this once with them. They took the time for both my manicure and pedicure and were pretty funny. They gave me a free gift, a hand fan, and have many more depending on how much you spend. Also a rewards card they stamp to give you money off manicures in the future. My mother also got a callus removal there and loves it.
Oh, they also have a spanish speaker there! Definitely approve...
Read moreI was looking for a new place to do my nails in the neighborhood as I used to do them in Queens for years but I moved to Brooklyn. I google some places and decided to try this place. I went in and asked about having deep powder, the workers look at me and nobody responded, there was an awkward silent. I thought nobody speaks English... 🤔 So I asked what was the waiting time, finally one employee got up and went to the front desk to take my info, she said they were very busy (Even though I saw a couple of customers only) she said they would call me around 4, it was 1:35 pm. I had a feeling about this place so I went across the street from the subway station to 277 Nails Spa, they have 4.9 reviews on google. I love how they did my nails there. Noya never called me so I made the right decision following my hunch. Avoid this Noya place, would not recommend it. Either they don't speak English or they're simply rude! That's not a way to...
