P&C — Restaurant in New York

The food is always really good and it's super affordable BUT they really need to improve their phone delivery system because the current way they are doing it is awful. You call and are basically put on hold for a long while. I just called to ask a question and was put on hold for several minutes. The other phone rings (they have two phones) and the lady picks up that call and tends to that order before she resumes my call. When she does pick up my call, she has some trouble hearing me at first and immediately hangs up. There have been countless other times where it's been difficult to get them on the phone and then we you do get them on the phone (and this mainly happens with one specific person) you have to repeat yourself so many times because this lady is rushing you through the entire thing without actually taking the time to listen to what it is that you're trying to order. I get that they are busy and it's because the food itself, again, is delicious and always arrives hot....BUT the long wait times and frustration when calling gets old after a while. We've had our orders wrong a few times likely because of her rushing through so much and not...

The place is usually packed for a reason. The food is excellent! Definitely not a hit or miss. They serve breakfast all day. The roast pork sandwich is excellent. I recommend having them add barbecue sauce on those days that you're looking for a nice BBQ style sandwich. The bacon cheeseburger is the best in the neighborhood. If like me you can't stand going to restaurants where they are cheap w/ the fried plantains...search no further. You can buy plantains separately in small & large quantities. If you are looking for a place to have a great breakfast, look no further. Though primarily a Dominican style restaurant, they have a variety of choices that cater to multiple ethnic groups and tastes. Their breakfast menu is the stand out for me.
