A frequent visitor in the past I'm sure, as motor inns such as these go, not much has changed. To be honest, in this neighborhood, the short stay amenity probably shines the brightest. $55-$65 for a regular room or $70-$80 for a room with a Jacuzzi for 4 hrs. The establishment itself appears decent upon first glance. The staff seems reasonable albeit a little lazy. There is an elevator in the building that looks fairly new. But it's the closer you get to your room that the pros stop. The halls often smell of a horrible mixture of cigarettes, cigars, Marijuana and cleaning solution possibly used to cover up the odors. All the rooms use cards instead of keys to gain entrance which is trouble free. The rooms are very small. The bathrooms are fairly sized. The rooms contain a big window that opens horizontally with curtains, carpeted floors, a round table, 2 chairs, a chest of drawers, 2 nightstands and a flat-screen TV with some sort of cable or satellite TV and working air conditioning. There is no mini fridge or closets, no ironing boards or iron. Not sure if you can request one. The bathroom is also basic. 2 towels and 2 washcloths and a a floral sheet of paper on the floor in front of the shower I assume to serve as a floor mat. There's also 2 small bars of soap, tiny tubes of lotion, shampoo and a shower cap. The bed is probably the most important and what you've been waiting to read about. The mattress feels great and is predominantly sealed to prevent bed bugs from camping out I'm sure. The only problem I had were the cigarette burns in the blanket. They looked pretty old and I'm sure they haven't been replaced. Pillows are also comfy...
Read moreI went to check in on Saturday 4/23/22 and the room they tried to give me was infested with bed bugs. I went to Frank the guy dealing with the front desk had him come to the room to show him. He started to apologize the moment he saw the bed bugs told me he would change my room. We walked back to the front desk for him to tell me they were completely sold out. I told him so now what? How do I get my money back he proceeded to say he would give me my money back if I had booked with them but because I used Hotels.com he can’t. I called Hotels.com after going back and forth they called the motel to confirm and all of a sudden there was no manager onsite Frank told Hotels.com to call back on Sunday which they did and the manager claims not only is there no bed bugs but they won’t be giving me my money back because I stood in the room. Hotels.com told them that’s impossible because I booked another hotel right after they got off the phone with Atlantic Motor inn and I checked into my new hotel 45 mins later. Don’t waste your money unless you want to take home some...
Read moreWhen in the US I registered without checking to much to this hotel/inn for 7 nights to my regret. The room was on the third floor, was not equipped with a closet to hang ones clothes. The lighting was dim and my room was not cleaned 5 of the 7 days I spent there. ||But that was the least of problems. ||On 3 nights i was disturbed in the middle of the night and early morning by loud noises and banging on doors near my room. ||This place is as I wrote in the title a per hour motel/inn and not suitable for a tourist. Booking com should this place and would have not done so if their representative checked the place and not just print out what was given to them by the hotel. a company/service that aim at tourist and is getting its commission from booking should check and recheck any place they promote.||My advice - you should check for yourself and if a place has a low star or none avoid it and stay away.||I hope this post will be published as I'm trying to do so over and over again maybe because I can not find the 200 words to describe how disappointed I...
