Kinszee is the secret sauce that turns this dive bar into a full-blown mini club. Like, yeahâitâs a dive, but when sheâs running the show, it feels like the place is pulsing with good vibes. Everyoneâs dancing, everyoneâs cool with each other, and even if your dance moves look like a warm-up gone wrong, Kinszee hypes you up like you just won So You Think You Can Dance. Itâs impossible not to have fun.
The drinks? Chefâs kiss. I witnessed the most perfect Guinness pour of my lifeâseriously, it was artâand Iâm still mad I didnât take a picture. Next time, Iâm documenting it like itâs a rare bird sighting. And the cocktails? She whips up the kind of drinks youâd expect from a fancy spot downtown, not your neighborhood bar.
We popped in for âjust one drinkâ and ended up shutting the place down. Thatâs the Kinszee effect. If she werenât there, the night wouldnât have hit nearly as hard. Will be...
Read moreI meant to post this review a long time ago, but better late than never, right? So, I'm from Louisville, KY and moved to Flushing with my wife earlier this year. Last, but not least, everything said about Kinszee is 100% true and I met Paddy, the owner, and felt like I already knew him. Great guy! I highly...
Read moreMy daughter and I were in flushing looking for something local. I CANNOT say enough about Suzanne, the bartender. She made us feel so so welcome and safe - like family. It is import for her to have people feel welcome and safe any thatâs exactly what we experienced. Itâs small, and donât go for food as they donât have food service but you can bring in your own. ATM on sight as she doesnât accept credit cards. Juke box was a hit and pool table. Fun, authentic NY vibe with a feel of a tavern- everything we were looking for. Definitely coming back before we head...
