Parrilladas Sunrise — Restaurant in New York

This place was a nice surprise. We ordered the namesake parrillada for 2. It was served on a stainless box with a fire inside and food on top so it was sizzling. It came out "al dente." We could see it was still cooking so we moved things to the edge. Service was really good. Value is fine. Colorful inside. Not intimate- it was kinda noisy with soccer on the TVs and Mexican music. Not a slam just letting you know. A minor point for me was that there was just a touch too much spice on the serving which was peppers, onions, mushrooms, Spanish sausage, chicken, steak- all together. The serving for 2 could feed more. I ate like a hog, my wife had multiple helpings, we gave the kids a bite or two and there was food still left on the brazier. I'd go back. Don’t over pay, last Sunday I went to have dinner with my girlfriend and in the bottom on the menu says that the 20% of gratuity will be included. We don’t deny to pay that if we get a good service. When we ask for the check they charged 20 dollars just for a very small portion of guacamole and the charged 80 dollars more for something that we did not order. when my girlfriend was singing the check the server told her to leave the tip and she told him that it was already included then he said in case you Want to leave extra. They should let people that the tip is included and not abuse of costumers.

Great food and service great . I gave it a 4 start because even though karaoke is fun The volume is too loud . We told the servers if it could be tone down just a little bit so that we could at least hear each other and have a conversation through dinner , and we saw the server told the animator and she only turned the volume down for one song, we were not the only table yo have the same request .
