La Pollera Colorada II — Restaurant in New York

This place was good, until they care only about the money. We were there on april 7th 2019 around 7 pm and the waitress Ledy P. didn't care about us, she served everything in parts and when we ask for hot sauce, she just took it away from other customers table, a I felt so ashamed for that action that I apologized to the other table she also wanted to sell us the big pitcher or Sangria and when we told her when want the small one (we were 2 people) she look upset, I understand people can have a bad day but her attitude was like she only want to make $$$ and didn't care about customer service, when my check come she included the 15% tip for herself, I think that's not correct because customers have the right to give a tip according to the law and the service, I am not a cheap person but since she gave us a horrible service she didn't have to add the tip that she wanted .At the end I wanted to tell her something but my husband begged me to not to, he just wanted to go away. Was meeting my husband at the resturant around 230pm. The lady behind the bar asked for my proof of vaccine, which I complied. However, I did find it odd that she did not ask the 6 people sat after me for their POV. I decided to order a small bite while waiting for my husband. I asked for a diet coke. They were out. I asked for any diet beverage. They were out. I ordered water. I asked for queso empanads. They were out. I ordered the mini arepas. They had it...but was delivered cold. I was starving so I ate them. I was still hungry so I ordered the tres leche cake. They were out. I asked for the check. Paid and left. Met my husband at another resturant. Very disappointing. This restaurant has always been our special place to dine while in Jackson Heights. Not any more. Looks to be under new ownership? Staff was inattentive. Seemed to be out a many items from the menu. If its was possible i would give no stars, the food was horrible the waiters had no patience and the people who hang around this place give you the ‘ i might get robbed feeling’ i honestly would not recommend this or any other restaurant in this blvd, i was in shock when i saw two groups a people from what i believe is that they where gonna start a fight over a beer, and the bars horrible i hate to say but this area is for people who have zero regard for themselves its disgusting do yourself a favor and stay away unless your a local go to steinway trust you will have a better experience and you dont have to worry about all the gangs in this blvd, i was appalled at what i saw and the violence that run in these streets. If you do decide to go have eyes behind your back because there are so many scumbags walking around ready...
