Looking for the ultimate Peruvian rotisserie chicken experience? Look no further! This spot is a gem for chicken lovers, offering a twist on the classic dish that will exceed your expectations. Even if you're used to having rotisserie chicken at home, the flavor and quality here will blow you away. Personally, I'm not one to usually order chicken when dining out, but I couldn't resist, and wow, it was hands down the best chicken I've ever tasted. And the ceviche micro? Absolutely delightful! Now, onto the service. While the waitstaff presence is abundant, there's room for improvement in their attentiveness. But fear not, the lively atmosphere with live music adds to the fun, although it can get a tad loud if you're seated too close to the band. Pro tip: If you're aiming for a cozy conversation, opt for a table farther away from the music. Just a heads up, this place tends to cater to larger groups, so it's wise to make reservations in advance. Get ready to indulge in fantastic food and vibrant ambiance!

Not for Mio highly over-rated short: cold service, cold food, hot prices long: I was asking around for recommendations for a Hispanic restaurant to take my family members for a birthday lunch. This place was highly recommended by a coworker. The location itself is a massive, wide, open space, which seems great for events. It was after the second visit that I realized it actually looks like a car dealership went out of business, paint the walls, add tables and chairs, and overall, a smart conversion if that's the case. The second thing I noticed is how little the servers give a sh1t. They do the bare minimum. First visit: The first time, yes, there, unfortunately, was a second time. We had the following: camarones cuzco; ceviche; and el matador. My mother was very unsatisfied with the ceviche; the camarones cuzco would have been okay at a much lower price it was substandard and cold; matador was visually impressive the size of it but it's definitely quantity over quality. The second time, I was invited by a group of coworkers. It was a surprise. I enjoyed their company. The waiter didn't even leave a menu for her. I had to walk back to the entrance to get it myself. I had the jalea, a very dry, unflavorful dish that looked like food scraps. I asked the waiter for sauce because it was so dry and he was adamant that they didn't have any sauce, even though later on the party next to our table was brought a container with sauce. My coworker got the camarones cuzco, same as the first time. Our friend got the filet mignon dish which consisted mainly of fries. I don't like posting negative reviews so I didn't post it after the first visit. I'm doing this more for me to remind me to be firm and decline any future invitations to this place. One positive: the sangria tastes great.

I’m new in the area and was told that Pio Pio was a bit pricey, however the food was great. So I tried the steak with French fries, rice and beans and an avocado salad 🥗 the total was approx $54.00 🤦🏻♀️ the beans were an extra charge and the salad was $11.00, I honestly didn’t think the price was bad because my expectations were high. Needless to say I was so disappointed I wanted to throw the food away, however, I paid way to much and was way to hungry lol. For one, they put the rice, French fries and steak in the same plate. The portion of steak was unbelievably small and the French fries were soaked in gravy so they were super soggy. For the price I was expecting everything packed separately. I will never eat here again 🤦🏻♀️ Thanks but no thanks! The steak and rice didn’t taste bad, but it couldn’t enjoy it due to the messy presentation. Count your days Pio Pio 😡 If you want: 1. Very Small Portions 2. Over priced food 3. Messy/Soggy food Eat here ☺️

We had been to Pio Pio many many years ago for our anniversary when they were at their original location next to Pio Pio to go. Since then we have been in love with their Rotisserie chicken and their classic green sauce. We decided to revisit them at their new location for our anniversary this year and were pleasantly surprised. The new location is a massive hall. We had to wait around 15 minutes and were seated at a comfortable table. We ordered the matador combo which includes one whole grilled chicken, hot dog and French fries, avocado salad, rice and beans and sweet or green fried plantains. For dessert we ordered the Tres Leche cake to share. The portions were so huge that after 2 adults and 2 children eating, we still had leftovers to go. The food was delicious with reasonable price, service courteous and quick with them attentive to our needs. The only down side is the noise as there are so many people!!

I ordered the shrimp Cuzco (shrimp with rice & sautéed with garlic sauce. It was really flavorful, filling and tasty. It is a bit pricey for a meal that only includes shrimp and rice but if you like seafood you will like this. We also got the rotisserie chicken and fries. They give you and lot of fries but the chicken was really juicy. The green sauce is a bit spicy, so be careful when adding to your dish. The empanadas are juicy as well but they are too flaky and they also have raisens and olives in it, so If you don’t like that, I suggest not getting it. Overall the service is good and the waiters are very attentive and food comes out fast. Also there is no parking lot so street parking can be hard to find around that area.

Their sauces are a must! Empanadas are not really of my liking and the sangrias....i dont know roo sweet. But everything was great ! Recommend it. Sadly I was too hungry to take pics...
