Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

Mind you, I don't really review fast food chains much. One, you already know what you're getting into. Two, it ain't going to beat most spots that make the same food by hand with more love and care. However, I have to give this spot a rating because whenever I go here, I am always satisfied. While many others have their own experiences, and have different 'expectations' for a fast food chain--or fast food in general--I want to put my experiences out there so you can make your own decision.

Service, could be better but it all depends on who you get. There's a lady who seems to put up an attitude and just comes off as cold. Same for one who gives out the food and gets stingy with the sauces unlike a few others who treat you right. The man in blue, who I presume is the manager, provides great service whenever I'm there and lets me know when they need to make some fresh tenders, telling me it will a bit of a wait.

As for the food, mine has always been fresh. I usually order Chicken Tenders with fries and a nice Chilled lemonade. Sometimes Chicken Nuggets, Popcorn Shrimp, or Chicken Thigh/Drumstick a la carte. Always delicious including their biscuits. They even put some extra and big Chicken Tenders in my box too which honestly--I'm not complaining--they treating me well. Probably because I'm one of the few customers who doesn't complain over the smallest thing. I just want to get in and get out quickly.

Plus, I always order in person. I never trust ordering from fast food chains online. I'd rather walk there myself and make sure I get what I ordered. That's just me though.

Overall, I like this spot and visit it once in a blue moon whenever I'm craving for Popeyes chicken. They treat me good, especially the night crew. Of course, some lady workers with attitude, but a very good manager who communicates. Fresh food that was never once under-cooked or over cooked. Today I was going over there for a pickup Oder it was 5$ meal for my lil sister! She only eat chicken leg pieces.. so I request for given me the 3ps of chicken legs But the night shift manager she told me no she can’t give me with a lot of rudeness nd she insulted me that time! She is really a rude person nd I need to mention it she don’t care about the customer service nd customer satisfaction too! Not only she actually the maximum night shift lady employees have this problem! They only love talk to each other they don’t focus about there job!I nd the night shift manager lady also told me that way “You have to take what we are given or you can cancel the order”” then later I asked her for help to cancel it, she said a lot of insulting things to me. I have been working at Popeyes it’s been 3years! I told her that I am aware of all the details. Then she said, "Then go wherever you work, we can't give you three legs." You guys have to be more professional about the customer service! It was a most worst customer service experience...

I had a terrible customer experience. I don't remember the exact date. So, I was dining there. I didn't order any drinks. Cause I was trying to cut down on my sugar intake. So long story short, I started getting hiccups while eating. I remembered, I forget to bring a water bottle with me from home. So, I went to the front and asked one the worker there to give me some water. He replied, "you have to pay for water". So I have to pay for a basic human necessity? Its not like if they give me a cup I am gonna use the soda machine to get Coke/ Pepsi instead. Customers can't access the soda machine there. Alright. I can pay. Its not a big deal. So, I said- "Ok, I will pay. Please just give some water now. I'm getting Hiccups". He then said- " You gotta go to the ordering line". Da Fuq? I am here dying of Hiccups and I have to get behind 5-6 people who are ordering. Just for a little bit of water. I almost went full Karen that day. But I was dying of Hiccups and I didn't want to make a scene. So I left without...
