Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

The food is decent, they ran out of food for my online order and had to wait another 20 minutes. While they did have social distancing markers and signs, they did had many issues with cross contamination where the cashier would also box orders with the same pair of gloves they touched customers money, cards and pens with. They used tongs to handle the actual food but folded the boxes and handled other containers with those gloves on the inside surfaces. At the end of the day with the high heat from the fried food that goes into them I don't know if much survives but it just isn't clean. Another employee rolled around a garbage bin and went back into the kitchen area without seeing him remove or change gloves either.

That being said the portions of chicken were a good size, they offered another customer before me some extra amounts of a different type of chicken since they ran out which was nice. I didn't get any sort of that kind of gesture for waiting patiently for 20 minutes, but they were courteous about it so that's ok. If they just fix their handling of food and money issues then I think this...

If I could give 0 stars I WOULD. I have never walked into an establishment where the so called manager (incident happened 6/16/25 at 11:45 a.m.) was so rude, nasty and ignorant that I took my $100+ order and walked out. I am a teacher in a school nearby and promised my kids I would get them Popeyes to celebrate the end of the year. I found coupons online and printed them out. I go in, place my order, hand him the coupons and he says, "where's the original?" I said "I printed them online". He said "My boss won't allow me to take them". I said "Well its for a school, can i speak to the manager?" He says, "I'm the manager". I said "ok, can you honor the coupons? They are valid, expires on the 22nd of this month". He said "NO". I said, "Can you call your boss, maybe he would make an exception". He said, "I don't have his number". Well, you don't have your boss's number and now you won't have the business from anyone in our school...

I can see why they have a grade A on the door. This is one of the cleanest fast food establishments I have ever visited. The tables, chairs and benches were free of grease, crumbs and trash; even the floor was spotless. The customer service was excellent and fast! I want to personally thank the manager for going out of her way to accommodate my children and I. She offered gloves and wet naps knowing that they would make a mess. The food was made fresh for my taste, the crispy chicken was crispy and did not taste like it as left out for a long time. I ordered tenders for my children and they love spicy food, it was perfect for their taste. I am very satisfied with this location. Will definitely...
