I went there with friends for dinner. The food was actually quite good; we enjoyed that. The atmosphere was kind of fun and original. Definitely not boring! Now comes the part that I/we had a bit of problem with: paying at the end. To begin with, the restaurant made it clear the prices on the printed menu were for cash payment. Fine! When we received the bill from the waiter, each item we ordered was more expensive than the listed price on the menu. We were all rather puzzled. I clarified it with the waiter and he smugly pointed to the sticker on the front of the menu: listed price are for cash payment. The bill we received listed two totals: one for cash and one for credit card (more expensive). Each of our item was listed under the credit card price. We were not asked our form of payment. The restaurant arbitrarily charged us the credit card high price. The waiter didn't give us a clear explanation at all. Although we paid by cash, we were charged the higher credit card price. Frankly, the difference is not a lot, just a couple of dollars. But that was not good business practice. It was an abuse of the pricing. Seeing that we were not happy and annoyed by this, all the waiters disappeared from the front. I am sure the City Consumer Affairs Dept would like to hear about this. I need to warn others who want to eat there to check what prices they are charged with. Make sure you insist that you are paying with cash! I am really sorry that it would be the last time I...

If you like your noodle soup bland, this is your place. If you like your chicken cutlet, breaded the sameeee way as your popcorn chicken, this is your place. If you like your baked rice dishes slacking flavors, this is your place.
Curry fish ball was fair, $5.75 for 8 pieces. Spicy salt & pepper corn - while it was the most delicious thing, it also felt the most expensive. $11 and we didn't even get half of the cob. Salt & pepper squid $9 - it was quite delish and it seems more fair priced than the corn...
HK Milk Tea - did not hit the spot Grass Jelly Coconut Drink - our friend says it was good House special red bean slush - $8 or $9, for a house special, it was slacking.
All in all, most of the items we ordered LOOKED much better than they tasted.
P.S. The staff seem to be a bunch of young high school/college kids. Most of them looked like they aren't ready for the job. Our waiter wasn't really responsive while taking our order. I ordered a soup macaroni but it came out as "Mei fun". He did replace it but he certainly was not enthusiastic about it. Asking for a cup of hot water is so common in chinese restaurants/communities. Guess what, the waiter says, there is no hot water available. Tell me how.
And this is your soft opening, I do not recommend anyone...
Read moreI had a terrible experience during my first visit here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The portions of food were so small that I left still feeling hungry. For the price I paid, I expected much more. On top of that, the food wasn’t even fresh—it came out cold and tasted like it had been sitting around for a while.
The service was just as bad as the food. When I walked in, the staff didn’t greet me, which felt rude and unwelcoming. It took way too long for someone to take my order, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. When I asked questions about the menu, the server acted annoyed, like I was bothering them. To make things worse, nobody came to check on me during the meal to see if I needed anything.
I also had to ask for water twice before they finally brought it to me. The tables were dirty and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly, which made me feel uncomfortable. The menu itself was confusing, and there weren’t many good options to choose from.
To top it all off, they messed up my order, and when I pointed it out, they didn’t apologize or try to fix it. Overall, this was a huge disappointment. Bad food, bad service, and a waste of time and money. I won’t be...
