I used to live in Brooklyn, Davinci was up the block from my house and ate there very often. My favorite pizza in all of NY. Moved to Indiana in 2003 and have never been back to Brooklyn since. We don’t have good pizza out here at all, not even in surrounding states. Was seeing if the store was still there and came across there website that said they shipped pizza!!!! I about lost my mind and made an order that same day. Ordered my beloved Sicilian and a round pie. It was next day aired to me, and boy oh boy, did it bring me back. I was too excited, as was my family and I forgot to get a picture of the round pie. Needless to say, it was incredible. I think the price is fair, and will consider it as a night out once a month from now on. Cheaper than a trip to New York. My only suggestion is to ask for extra sauce at checkout in the request box, most of the sauce dried out but it was still a 10/10 for me. My kids have never had New York pizza and now they understand why I think dominos and Pizza Hut are disgusting LOL. Nothing comes close to NY Pizza!!! Will be ordering again in 2 weeks! Also have been chatting through texts with the owner, he gave me updates about my order and was so friendly. What a great guy. You can’t beat that kind of service. So happy that I now know shipping is an option....
Read moreI have been eating at this pizzeria since 1981. I remember this being the most satisfying slice of pizza I ever had. The Sicilian pizza gets my vote for the best pizza on the East Coast USA because I haven't been to Italy before. That's coming from me an authentic Roman Catholic with 100% Italian ancestry. My mom ate there while she was pregnant with me; me and this pizza go way back.
Tony the owner has known me since I'm a little kid living in Brooklyn eating here and commuting back to my grandmother's after we moved to New Jersey. He never forgets me even though now that my grandparents have passed away it is rare that I get to see him. Place is always still there mobbed and I don't take it for granted. I stop there and say, remember me? And he always does.
Not only is the food great but so is the owner. God bless you, Tony; I'm not around and my family left Brooklyn. But I hope one day I can stop by and see you for another slice. 5 star review, life's too short, I got hit by a tractor trailer and survived a near death experience last week. Thanks for being my favorite pizzeria. If you've never been, obviously this is as strong of a recommendation as it gets. Go on for a slice of Sicilian and take care of Tony and Da Vinci pizza so it's there when I come back.

Read moreHave been going to this place since i was a kid. Used to live down the block (many years ago lol) and it was always the best pizza in the neighborhood, and that's when there were many good pizzerias in the area (its different today). But DaVinci has withstood the test of time. They continue to make amazing pizza. Their crown jewel is their squares. Now that i moved to the other side of Brooklyn, i do not go as much, but when i want good pizza, will make the trip or send someone to get a few pies (always get an extra pie, you can freeze them and they taste amazing when you reheat them in the toaster oven nice and crispy). Great friendly service in an old school spot. This time we got a plain Sicilian (square) and a Sicilian with 1/2 sausage / 1/2 pepperoni. I recommend asking for it well done because i like crispy crust, but that's your personal preference. If you want good old fashioned real deal pizza, this is one of the go to spots. It very well might be the best. Also remember they don't deliver. That should say it all. They have been around for over 45 years and they never did deliveries. If you want the best you have to go to them. And it well worth the trip. Go grab a few pies and thank me later when your going for your 4th or...
