I ate at this place twice. Once to sit down and eat, the other time to get a slice of pizza. The owner here is very rude. First time, when I came to sit down and eat, he gave me a dirty table and was ignoring me when I asked to be seated. There was no one else in the restaurant. He also forgot to bring the table appetizer. Just today, I ordered pizza to go. When the pizza came out, he just gave me the pizza and when I asked for a bag to put the pizza in. He just threw the bag on the counter. Basically, telling me to put the pizza in the bag myself. I don't mind doing it, but this dude is rude. He also doesn't wear his mask in the restaurant and I've seen him breathe heavily over other peoples food when sending it over. Also the food is beyond mediocre for the price. DO NOT COME HERE. Support another local business in the area. I'm never...

A Little Corner of Italy in Astoria It’s been two months since my family and I gathered at Pronto, a charming neighborhood Italian restaurant. We were a table of six; and, from the moment we stepped inside, we were embraced by an atmosphere that felt straight out of Italy. Our server's recommendations were spot-on, beginning with a delicious house-made Sangria. We sampled every house specialty, and they were all delicious. To name a few from that evening: Risotto Bolognese with Burrata, Veal Scaloppine, Chicken Piccata, Mushroom Ravioli, and Chicken Francese. Our desserts included Affogato, Tiramisu, Lava Cake, and the most crispy-cracklingest Crème Brûlée I have tasted in absolutely years. I highly recommend this gem of...

GROUP: 15 Experience: Excellent Food: Excellent Staff: Courteous, Kind, and Quick

We arrived in NYC just after dinner with a team of students. We walked over to Pronto Pizzeria in hopes of 4 large pizzas boxed up to crash on the sidewalk outside. The staff bent over backwards to take care of our crew. Their service stood out to our group of high school students so much that the kids wrote them a note of thank you and asked for a picture with them.

Atmosphere and kindness can only go so far. The food has to be good. It was better than good. Pronto Pizzeria serves and EXCELLENT New York Pizza. We inhaled 4 oversized pizzas in no time. WELL DONE!

We will be back! Pronto Pizza has become a must visit place when we...

I randomly stopped here for a slice earlier this week while in the area, and was pleasantly surprised . This is a small pizza shop, but has very quaint, aesthetics and seating. I ordered a pizza slice with pepperoni and a seltzer. There was an outdoor seating area of which I took advantage of in the inclement weather(it was raining but not freezing). I enjoyed my slice under their canopy accompanied by soft music that can be heard from what I think is an outdoor speaker. The pizza was very delicious and not overcooked which I appreciate . Very nice place. I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area.

The restaurant is small but nice. The owner and the staff were all super friendly and polite. We ate pizza and a sandwich. The sandwich lacked sauces and a bit of filling. The taste it self was fine but was a bit dry. The pizza was good, enough material on it, but I find it that it should be balanced a bit better ingredients wise. All in all I would recommend the pizzeria if you are in the neighbourhood.
